This may be due to my lack of sleep for the last four plus days but I have started trying to get the Winterspring Cub mini pet and it says I have to collect 20 cub whiskers to complete the quest but was only able to get one.
So how do you get the 20?
Is this like a daily play with cubby thing to get whiskers??

Edit: and I realized the whiskers are for the frostsaber mount quest.

But still my question remains on how to get more kitten whiskers.

I'm assuming the mount quest chain works much the same as the Venomhide Ravasaur. The whiskers are probably something you receive one of each day as you complete a daily quest, then after 30 days (assuming) you'll have enough for the mount.

The minipets can just be purchased from Everlook.

You got it right - you come back the next day to do the quest your cub gives you and get a second whisker. Rinse and repeat for 20 days, bam, mount.

I love that the wintersaber got streamlined to work like the raptor.

Beats the old grind by a long shot. >_<
