I just posted a poem for Aeonaxx on the Magic Luck Thread, and I honestly loved writing it. So I decided to start writing poems for rare pets that I think others could recite for their pets to approve of :p.

My beautiful lion,
With a skin so nice,
You've sat there in the spirit realm,
And this I must despise.

I've waited now two weeks at least,
My hunger unsatisfied,
Many days I've just logged to my alt,
Just stared at my screen and cried.

So spawn for me my beautiful lion,
Your future's uncertain without,
I'll feed you, love you, brush your mane,
My love I just cannot doubt.

My Life / TLPD;

One day I was a little kid,
Playing in the city with my friends,
But after the war had started,
The fun had came to an end.

I travelled through the Kingdom and Kalimdor,
Waiting for the time to arrive,
I went to the burning outlands,
And slain all who questioned my pride.

Stronger and stronger I soon became,
My Father said 'You're ready',
He sent me through a portal,
And to Dalaran I went, with my teddy.

They welcomed me and told me,
That a huntress I have became,
They sent me to the forest,
And the Worgs I soon had slain.

But one had caught my eye,
A calm one without a doubt,
He rubbed his face against my hand,
And with him, I walked about.

Once returned I was sent,
To the Storm Peaks - chilling and all,
I was told to find myself a drake,
'But do try not to fall'.

I inquired my master why,
Oh why would I now fall?
He told me of a Proto Drake,
That's time was lost to all.

So now I hunt you madly,
My time-lost drake of all,
You're old and perhaps rusty,
But you're still my greatest wall.

A hurdle to overcome,
Please spawn for me my dear,
You'll see me looking at you now,
Grinning from ear to ear.

But only then will I mount you,
And saddle you with glee,
Now I'll try not to fall,
But between us ...

There is no height to fall.
It's only you and me.

Mad About You

A stone's throw from Ramkahen
I walked a lonely mile in the moonlight
And though a million stars were shining
My heart was lost on a distant planet
That whirls around the April moon
Whirling in an arc of sadness

Aeonaxx - Take two:

One night I was a huntress,
A child born in the dusk,
With nothing but a bronze drake,
And a little bit of trust.

I sat within the crystal graze,
Light save me, lord of the air,
I saw you flapping happily around,
Without one single care.

But then your gaze snapped back at me,
The kind of anger and fright,
My ears were ringing, heart was pounding,
Then you were out of sight.

All night I searched for my loving mount,
When I found him, I looked straight back,
He was dead, and with his head,
A strange being went grumbling back.

I cried all through the morning,
Now searching for you I am,
Please realise I will stand up for you,
Here for you I stand.

I love you Aeonaxx.

King Krush

They called you a myth
I scoffed and raised my bow
Off to Sholazar I went
In order to silence my foes

Not once had I seen you
Not once in two years
But one early morning
Your roar rang in my ears

With pleasure I did ride
Through dense trees and scrub
Across rivers and lakes
When finally, THUD!

There you stood
A menace with style
King Krush, my mind cried
You looked well worth the trial

A long fight though it was
I may have ran in fear
But, in the end
You were tamed, but just until mere

My lovely green dinosaur
With a heart of gold
A face so lively
Together we stroll

I'm glad you like it, but I can't take credit. I should have attributed Sting directly, instead of just linking the song.

Prowler (Duskwood)

One day, it was a sacrad chamber,
That separated the two of us,
I broke the cage that forged you in,
We left without a fuss.

My life was broke when there I released,
You had no self-defence.
I found your body tattered and broke,
Without no kind of sense.

That night I sobbed to the heavens above,
Oh lord please bring him back,
But everyday I checked his splay,
He was still all bones and that.

The nights went by like years,
I prayed to the light in silence,
An angel came from up above,
And sent me to the spirit islands.

I saw him once more; there and then,
Standing sad and weary,
I said to him 'Return my love',
But started getting teary.

Shimmering brightly as I woke from the plains,
A light glowed suddenly before me,
Rolling over, I opened my eyes,
To realise it was just a dream.

But if I'd not awoken,
What would have happened?
Would I have seen Prowler,
Or been utterly devoured?

To this day we've never seen,
Or saw what could've been,
I just wish now to see Prowler return,
For he's my spirit; he makes up me.

I wait and wait non stop,
But yet you allude me still.
Others have tamed you,
Others have killed you,
But my dear shiny friend, you will come home.

Skarr, skarr has come so many times,
only to taunt me, and tug at my soul.
But you, my dear shiny crab friend,
you shall come home.

Other hunters fake me, by pulling copies out,
but I know there is no crab like you, Karkin.
The fake scares, the fake thrills,
it intimidates me, but you,
you my shiny crab friend, you shall come home.

Home is where the others except you,
where Gezzerak and Terrorpene fight,
where Ankha, Gondira, and Magria are all related,
where Skoll and Loque'Nahak are bitter enemies.
where you belong, my shiny crab friend.

Come home Karkin,
your brothers and sisters are looking for you.
Looking for a brother to call their own,

I just cried, really You shown such emotion in your words, I'm utterly amazed. Here's one going out to the beasts of the spirit planes.

The Spirit Planes

Where those who die are now rehomed,
To a beautiful family forever shown.

Mobs who are killed for a careless quest,
To the heavens above they are a special guest.

Where Spirit Beasts roam when there's no where to go,
To the hunters below they put on a great show.

But the secret is hidden in the depths of the clouds,
To the gods in the sky every beast is allowed.

One hunter - one huntress - they searched for them all,
To the gods up above they were worthy and tall.

They understood beasts and the word pronounced 'me',
To the spirit inside they thought every creature as beauty.

But 'me' they had never cared to care about,
To the beasts, they were saved from their doubt.

Now these two still stand in the the depths of the dusk,
To both of these Hunters, the beasts are worthy of our trust.

That, that is just amazing. I rarely cry, but that nearly brought me to tears.
And thank you for complementing my poem. I'll probably write another for when Karkin DOES spawn. I missed him this morning by (Legit) 5 seconds. Now I, and the other hunter who got him, we're waiting for Either Skarr, or Karkin to spawn. I am hoping Karkin, because I already have Skarr, but I also hope he gets Skarr.

I just got Karkin, so here is my poem for him:

Horns blow, screaming from Gezzerak,
slowly, ever so slowly I turn my head, and he's there.
Slowly, I tag you, and wait for that "oh no you dont tame me rawr" spell,
after I stop it, I try to tame you.

Then HE comes. The troll hunter,
mounted on his raptor, ran towards us.
Slowly, ever so slowly, time was stopping.
It felt like as the spell completed, it took 5 minutes.

But the troll hunter wasnt giving up, hitting Karkin,
he started to kill him, but, the tame finished
Just after that, the hunter got your attention,
And you launched from the rock, to the troll's head,
and bashed it in.

The troll fell to his death, and you scuttled to my side.
The thrill, it filled my heart, my veins, my soul.
Gezzarak hissed in delight and approval.
Welcome home Karkin....forever....

Where Shi'ka sits,
Where there's still afterlife,

XueFang your name means snow
your fur is as white as snow but speckled with scars from our adventures together
to you i bid happiness.
yukkio who was born in snow but grew in a jungle
i took you in and let you see you lover again
Bengali. you were once a prided cat now your old master has cursed you
and left you to rot. but no matter how many cats laugh at you i will always love you
midori you were the prided pet of a night elf noble but then they died and left you
so you became dull and lifeless. but i came and rescued you and now you glow bright!
shine on midori! never let the darkness take you again!
blacking after a failed battle ground i heard you were lonely cause you were outcast
cause you were black. you were lonely flirting around when i swooped down and gave you a loving home
greenstink. you were a common but the other avoided you. so i took you in (and washed you) and now
you make alliance scream and runaway
grimbold you are grim but very bold. you make a rock shatter under my guild master after he tryed to take
you and let me give you a nice loving home cheer up and be bold!
Panthro who is lost in a world of worgs grew a tick mane to protect himself. i gave him a loving home
where i hopefully no longer need is mane but he keeps it any ways:)
blessed who was beaten very very badly by bears i mended her up and now she won't stop thanking me!
laps who let me tame her after i gave anhka a loving home to a guildy who never ever stops using her.
anhka who spawned for me very late at night but no name seems to fit her!
Yukki decided not to be left behind by her sisters but was very shy to come out! have some courage girl!
ghostcrawler was left all alone after his reef died but i gave a loving home to
keep going ghostcrawler may mercy be kind on you
snowy my owl. oh how i love you but your an adventures type so if you ever leave me-we all know you will

iceybreath who sadly died shortly after i rescued from the other chimeras.

i was sad when you left me but now i hope you are happy with the friends i have made.
evanescent you are shy. once a cave worg who was struck by lighting now you sit alone waiting for a home
so i say welcome home old friend
Krakin you were being greifed upon by alliance when i ran though
and then i stopped to tame you now who have a home
and as a thank you i won a black drake.
Arcturis why do you hate me? or are you just shy? i'm waiting here to give you a nice loving home.

there is no need to run no more Karoma.
i am ready to take you home.
but you run away just out of reach.
stop running! you'll miss the fun time we will have
