Drawing (Finally)

No, this isn't a new awesome 'drawings' topic. But instead, I have great news. ...

WAIT FOR IT ...
Fine, I'll tell you.
I no longer have to draw with a mouse! Officially! I have with me now a nice new working tablet, bamboo, out of my birthday money, and I'm damn happy! Now I just need to learn to draw things decent at least, and I'll be happy.
... Yay.
Edit: However, it's really annoying drawing on this thing. If someone could hand me some hints, it'd be much appreciated.

Best I can suggest is practice. The first thing a tablet does is ruin your art, then it gets better over time once you get used to it. Once you understand just how to sue it, you'll get better fast!

I wish I had photoshop, though. I have Gimp. But it's not as good, even if it's decent. Can't get as good effects as Veph and such for my signatures ...

Congratz on the tablet!
trust me, I know exactly what you mean when you say that it's annoying to use, but after a while, you'll be fine with it ^^
My advice? Practice for a bit every day, and you'll find yourself getting better with it pretty fast

love Gimp! It's all I've ever used ^^ You can get pretty good detail with it, but it takes a while to figure out how to
I've only been using it for about half a year and still don't know quite a bit about it, but via practice, you can do stuff like
this (yes, I did draw that myself, fully in gimp
) also try using lots of layers, it makes coloring/shading/fur and hair detail, etc. soooooo much easier!

Will do. Last test here, based on a sad crab, lol. Mazak, a human paladin from my guild. Who is ICly currently a sad crab due to overdramatic RP. So yeah. Weird style on this one, my signature looks better, lol.
