Has anyone here had a statue created of their toon from figureprints? I had one for my partner's toon done last christmas and it's awesome, am finally looking at getting one for myself soon and just wondered if anyone else here has gotten one. Would be interested in seeing pics of them :D

I did one a while ago, during TBC, so mine is wearing his Sonic Spear and Beast Lord Mantle LOL

At least he's still the same char, draenei hunter, same hairstyle and everything lol. I'll have to take a pic sometime.

None of the armor sets on the site really do it for me when it comes to making a statue. I've been busily scrounging dungeons and the AH for clothing and weapons i like to use instead, heh

Armor sets on the site? Didn't know you could change that...when I did it, I just used my armory profile and that was my figure lol.

I have 3 figureprints from back in the old days when you couldn't just buy them. You entered monthly for a chance to be one of the limited number of people they'd randomly select each month. If your name was drawn, you could buy one from 'em. I entered for months before my name was drawn, so I had one done of my then-main warrior. I ended up getting drawn again in the next two rounds so the second and third ones are of my hunter and death knight.

I think they're great. Granted, the armor the characters are wearing is out of date, but that doesn't matter to me. The only downside is that my hunter doesn't have one of his pets (specifically his pink tallstrider) at his side.

I did think about getting one of my hunter or druid...but I found the paint job (compaired to my McFarlane dragons) to be very lacking in skill or quality.

Since they're printed I find the paint colours just absorb into the material, leaving it dull and washed-out looking. Even though they touch it up after, I've never been fond of the finished product. They're really cool, but not something I'd spend the money on for myself.
