After a pretty disappointing week in tames, I logged in this morning by the Karkin/Skarr spawn point and saw Karkin hanging out on the rock (despite my NPC scanner going off for both of the spawns somehow, lol).

I was kind of on the fence about taming the guy, but when I saw a Blood Elf Warrior jumping along the rocks, I knew what he was going to try. He managed to get up to Karkin before me, but to my surprise he was burnt to a cinder before any damage was done.

With the potential griefer dead, I stepped up to the plate and tamed. It took me three times to get the hang of what I was doing, and a Troll Hunter stood next to me, waiting his turn I assumed, or WORSE- to steal from me. I was pleasantly surprised when I managed to tame Karkin on my third try and the Troll pulled out his own Karkin, and we had ourselves a little /emote congrats party.

Thank you, Mr. Troll, for not being like your Garrosh server brethren.



I don't really have any idea what to name it, though. Any suggestions?

What a wonderful story. I love being that hunter hanging around to congratulate all the fresh tames. As for names, here's a few that stood out to me:
Sebastian
Snapp
SundaySpecial
Horseshoe
Envy
MrPinchy
RockLobster
FireBurnin
Skitters

I like names like Bradley, or Tomethy. Alternatively, if you look up some racehorse names you can get some good ones; Shackleford, Toccet, Bandini, etc.

Normally, it isn't. But in this case, I'd say it was.

The title made me lol. Thats really all I can say besides grats!

Congratulations! And I'm seriously debating on naming mine RockLobster as well. Granted, I also want to name my Loque "Tone Loc" for some reason...lol
