Looking for rediculously sized pets.

Unread post by Shade »

For the love of God Blizzard, let me make a gnome hunter already!!!

Bah.

Well, seeing as I can't have a gnome hunter yet, I'll play a goblin one.

I'm looking for suggestions of large pets to put with my little green girl. Sadly she is only level 13 right now, but I'm planning ahead for her.

Thought a tallstrider would be good.

Image

But HE SHRANK!!!!

Image

Though he is still bigger then Riz, lol.

So looking for big pet suggestions. I want to start going for them and see if they stay big, which will be hilarious, or shrink, which will also be hilarious. Can't wait to get a devilsaur on her.

Worm
Those things are HUGE. Not sure about the regular ones, but the jomungar ones are gigantic.
Also, Devilsaurs. They're pretty dang big too. But of course, both require BM :c

When you hit Northrend, see if you can't find Icehorn, the rare Rhino there in Borean Tundra. You can always try your luck with a Devilsaur, too.

Pets that are huge for a goblin, ones you can get now...

http://www.wow-petopia.com/family/turtle.html

http://www.wow-petopia.com/family/warpstalker.html

These are besides the obvious. Also Tallstriders get huge as they lvl up so keep it while you can. The obvious ones are Devilsaurs, Core Hounds, Rhinos, Worms, Chimaeras and Silithids.

Bats and Moths are surprisingly big as well.

Thanks for the suggestions! Some of those I have not thought of at all.

Will make a list and go tame what I can, as soon as I can. :)

As suggested, I went after one of the level 1 worgs. I died about seven times running there from Stranglethorn, thus he is now named Deatheater.

Randomly tried a dragonhawk and turtle from the Blood Elf zones.

A ravager is top on my list. Sadly I'm unable to get to one till I get flight or thereabouts, as I can't get into the Dreinai zone until I get flight really by myself-and people on my server are largely unwilling to help.

And If I was on your servers, I'd be totally willing to help, know that. I love the look of the Ravagers, I just don't know if the buff is useful in most dungeons or instances at max level.

The turtle might size up nice as you level. Same with the dragonhawk. I would definitely agree with the suggestions of a jormunger worm, or devilsaur. They're taller than Thy :D I would love to see them with a goblin.. although you'd have to level up some first.

Yeah, leveling is going to be the pain here, but I'm up for a challenge. Out of all my hunters, with Shadé being my main and favorite, this quirky, silly little goblin is really starting to grow on me, so I think she might be the second that I get all the way to 85-though, Kítsune, who I moved over to Nesingwary, might get there first. *shrug*

Hmmm... well...

Thank you for the willingness to help. I have nothing to do, summer is very boring when one has no funds to go do something and nothing that needs to be done so..

I took Riz's life in my hands, ran her over to the entrance of Darnassus, dying about five times in the getting there, and then drowned her under the boat to the Exodar.

Tried a moth out for size...

Image

Wasn't too impressed with it's size-though it is only level 14 right now. Once I level up some more I will go tame one again, as I dismissed this one (having only one spot which to put a pet at the moment-we so need a 'send pet to stable' option). I did name it though, think if I petition a GM I can get it restored?

Looked around at the ravagers for a bit, and had strongly considered getting the blue and green one, but I saw this guy and he fit just way to well.

Image

He wins the size contest right now. O_o

I really love this thread BTW.

Ever since they introduced the new glyph, my King Krush (Gobziilla) looks positively towering next to my goblin. Wasps also cut a large figure.

Wait, what glyph? I know of the Lesser Porportion Glyph that makes them smaller, but is there one to enlarge? If so, why didn't I know about this!?
