Seems that I am in for a long camp for this guy. Lots of hunters out in Sholazar Basin so what better to do to pass the time than keep a hunting journal to document my tame?

August 2nd 2011 - Day One

11:58 am - I finally dinged 76! Off to Dalaran to get supplies for this loooong camping trip.

12:10 am - the hunt for Loque finally begins!

1:20 pm - Was flying around checking Loque's spawns and I found King Krush at The Glimmering Pillar!

1:23 pm - After a number of feign deaths I finally tamed King Krush, rushed to Nesingwary Base Camp to stable him and continue my hunt for the infamous Loque.

2:20 pm - A horde hunter tried to kill me! I was minding my own business at his east spawn point shadomelded and he cast his hunter mark. I mounted up just in time to fly away narrowly escaping death!

2:43 pm - The hunter came back to my camp spot with Loque he just tamed to rub it in my face and set off my scanner.

6:44 pm - Orc Horde hunter hanging around my camping spot skinning gorillas. Hope he doesn't see or try to kill me.

8:35 pm - Watched as an Alliance Death Knight killed King Krush. I figured I may as well whisper him and ask him to kindly let me know if he sees Loque and not to kill him. At first no response, so I said that I would gladly give him some gold. Then he said "What does it matter go do some quests". Slightly taken back I said "That has nothing to do with a pet" and then he told me that "Taming rares is a waste of time". I would probably agree if he weren't a completely unique skin or recolor of another skin. Sad to see someone of my own faction won't even help if they pass over a rare.

10:09 pm - Thinking of giving up for the night. And I did..... maybe

10:29 pm - Changed my mind, logged back on for the heck of it to see if he was in my favorite spawn point. AND THERE HE WAS! Clicked on the NPCscan pop up, it's him I can see the silver dragon around his portrait! Still in disbelief I ran over to where he was and it really was him! I set down my ice trap and hit tame praying that no other hunters or horde came along. When the tame finished I jumped for joy! I even forgot to eat my haste food and pop my pot I was so excited!

Gahhhhh! I can NEVER find King Krush or Aotona. I got Loque without breaking a sweat or even camping, but those two elude me to this day. /cry

Grats on Loque! She is so pretty! And yes, I know Loque is male in game! To me, Loque is always a she!

Thank you and thank you. Sarantha good luck on your Krush hunting! He's definitely a fun tame. I named my Loque after Grimmjow from Bleach. /nerd I LOVE his form and I think the name fits Loque as well.

I had a cat named Grimmjow for Grimmjow Jaggerjack <3 and I had a Loque named Pantera for his Pantera form as well. Grimmjow is my fav Bleack characte ever.

As SOON as I hit level 76 I began camping. I flew around on my 150% mount so I was SO bored. I came on many encounters with Hunters of both Alliance and Horde factions. (At the time I was horde) After 6 many hours of both stress and boredom my /macro pops up (I didn't know about addons at the time) and tells me "Loque'nahak targetted, go get him!" I was so scared I was in shock for about 10 seconds then I began taming. I forgot to tag him and I get a sick feeling when I saw a dwarf hunter, saw me taming the Elusive Loque and I /begged and /plead with him. He waved an flew away, I was so greatful to that dwarf. Finally he was mine. I was so happy and I am still in shock to this day. Be very proud of your tame, it will stick with you forever.
