I wanna get a lynx but I'm Alliance, so I'm gonna try to corpse jump all the way there.
Should I go directly through everything?

Die as soon as possible. Run as a ghost to Eversong (the place with the lynxes). Logout. Log back in. Then take a spiritress. Tadaa!

You don't even have to log out and in again! as soon as you hit the loading screen, you're good to rez at any spirit healer you please.

What they said... I went for a Moth on my new Hunter last week and it worked out perfectly. I did just as stated above and got my Moth before the level 1-5's even noticed I was there lol... I even waved to a Dra Priest that freaked out just as I hit the Hearth stone...

Do I go straight through the Arathi Highlands?

Yeah, corpse run, you'll be running faster than a "living" run (not to mention a "living" run would be seriously delayed by deaths and corpse search parties). Loading screen resets the grave yard information, so you can res at the spirit healer by Silvermoon. (If you were to, say, want to corpse run from Ironforge to Tirisfal, you'd want to log out and back in, otherwise you'd be sent back to the grave yard near your death spot.)

Arathi => Hillsbrad => Alterac => Tirisfal => Western Plaguelands (or you can go Hinterlands => back path to Western Plaguelands) => Eastern Plaguelands => Ghostlands => voila! xD

Depending on where you start from, I do believe you'll have to go Arathi Highlands --> Hillsbrad Foothills --> Hinterlands --> WPL --> EPL --> Ghostlands --> Eversong. Die right away though before you do all that running, then log out once you get to Eversong. By log out I mean just go to the character selection screen. When you log back in, take the spirit rez and BAM, you're ready to tame your lynx!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm quite tired.

Okay, I'm in the Ghostlands, do I go to Eversong?

I believe the Ghostlands only has the brown lynx, way up north by the border of Ghostlands and Eversong. If you want a red lynx, you're going to have to travel deeper into Eversong near the blood elf starting area, if I'm not mistaken.
