Losing Time on the Time-Lost Protodrake

So, earlier in the year I did about a month and a half of casual camping for this guy after taming all the Northrend and Cataclysm rare spawns, and completing Frostbitten. After several close encounters (logging in over his corpse after a randomer had just killed him, zoning in, leaving to get breakfast for 5 minutes, and flying out to see his corpse ...) and a handful of Vyragosa kills I started up again on the 23rd of July after taming all the 4.2 rares except for Skitterflame. Every day since then I've put at least 6 hours in, generally more (17 hours being the maximum) camping the spawn spot above the Frozen Lake. Most of the day I am alone (or practically alone) but in the evening there's usually about 5-6 people on Alliance side in Storm Peaks.

I've had six Vyragosa kills since the 23rd (5 spawns in my face, 1 flying in from Ulduar). Time-Lost spawned the one day I was out (that day I only camped the evening), at the Waterfall, and it managed to get to past the Frozen Lake before the guy killed it (so basically if I had been there I would have got the kill). The last three days I've been alerted by NPCscan while watching stuff on Youtube and had Vyragosa spawn in my face (it's so annoying when you go back into WoW and see that stupid blue dragon ...) This dragon is really starting to wear me down, but after seeing 5 or 6(!) corpses in that month and a half, I now have a personal vendetta against the blasted thing. I've also been periodically checking for Poseidus, Aeonaxx and the camel mount after Vyragosa kills and I've had a handful of fake camels and nothing else.

Perhaps the forums will give me some luck ?

Yey, for the 4th day in a row Vyragosa has spawned in my face on the Frozen Lake. At least I get a break now I guess ...

It's amazing how refreshing a break can feel. When I camp, I feel pretty much tied to the pc. Good luck in your hunt!

My friend has been camping TLPD on our server for what feels like forever. Anytime he's not in a dungeon or doing Firelands dailies... he's just sitting there with NPC_Scan running.

Good luck, man.

Good luck, dear! Hopefully this horrendous camp will end soon!
