Okay, I'm beginning my search for the TLPD. This is probably going to suck. I'll update this thread as I get more and more frustrated.

2.45 pm: First entry. Nothing so far, though I've only been here for about ten minutes. My computer is really slow with both WoW and the internet running. Gwyn is cold. He's not really substantial enough to generate any warmth. Hopefully this won't take too long. I'm hoping I'll get lucky. Saying that means I probably won't.

Good luck! if it helps, I've seen them about 9-11 hours apart (first Vyra corpse was spotted about 10 hours after guildie had a time-lost npcscan alarm go off, next vyra corpse was see 11 hours after that, about).

I've already decided I'm gonna save my hardcore camping (for poseidus.. time-lost, aeonaxx, etc) for after classes start... Park myself, and go study while keeping an eye on my monitor, and possibly the occasional lap around the patrol path.

Yeah, I'm going to camp that way once uni starts up again, too. But for now, I have to stay up late and get up early to give my dog her meds anyway. I figured why not? Especially because I can just watch Supernatural and browse the internet while I do it.

Speaking of giving the dog meds, I've got to do that right now. Watch him or Big Blue Butt spawn while I do that.

3.46 pm: Still nothing. Met another hunter who I thought might be looking for Skoll-- turned out she was just doing dailies to get a mount. Still she said she'd love me to tell her if Skoll pops and that she'd be happy to tell me if TLPD or Vyra show their faces.

I got bored, so have some screenies of Gwyn chilling.

8.32: Coming up on my sixth hour of camping. Hopefully something will show soon. At this point, I'd even be happy with Big Blue Butt-- at least she'd give me a timer. This is so frustrating!

12.36 AM: I'm about to hit the ten hour mark. No sign of anything. I'd even be happy with BBB, at least then I'd have a timer and an achievement. Or be closer to an achievement. I don't remember. TV and crocheting makes a great camping mix.

Good luck, though I warn you that ten hours is nothing unless you get really really lucky. I've been putting in at least 6 hours a day (usually around 10-12, once 17) for the past 12 days camping the Frozen Lake, and I've seen only 6 Vyragosas and 4 Skolls. It's only going to get worse ...

I remember when this hunter here was leveling in Stormpeaks, I saw the TLPD..freaked the heck out and landed on a spot high enough to kill it- despawned when I hit it with serpent sting.

Saddest day ever.

1.26 AM: Still nada. Coming up on the end of the spawn timer; hopefully something will happen soon.

1.53 PM: Got on today and switched to a better spot. Instead of just sitting at the Falls, I'm a Frozen Lake, directly on the spawn point. I'm going to go take a bath and try and get ready for the day, because I've been at this for nearly an hour already. (Also, campers: try and take baths instead of showers if you can. It may not be comfortable, but you can tame/kill from the tub if need be.)

2.31 PM: Cooking an omlette while camping. Green peppers, red peppers, and smoked ham. Yum!

3.03 PM: First Vrya sighting!(: She spawned at exactly 3.00 (as I was getting a towel to clean up a mess, no less!). Just gonna sit here until either she or TLPD spawns again. Unfortunately, I need to go with my mom to buy some rhubarb soon. :1

Sounds like you were at the point around Garm / K3.

That area IS PHASED but he phases back in on the other side near the Bear Pit / Blue Lady Village. :/

If that ever happens, just go to the other side of the phasing and wait for him to wobble out.

4.02 PM: Leaving for a little bit to buy some rhubarb. Neither should spawn for another two hours at the earliest, but I wouldn't out it past my luck for it to happen anyway.

Also.. per a GM, unless a spawn is killed, it stays up. If something just randomly vanishes, it most likely is due to phasing (be it flying in a phased area or another player yanking them in/out of a phased area).

5.45 PM: Back in action! Luckily no one stole my camping spot while I was away (I would have been majorly upset, this spot has garnered me my only look at Vyra) and I got back around the time another one should pop. Maybe I'll get lucky?
