WoW Petopia Community

So I popped out of the Molten Front portal and came into Hyjal. What happens but my alarm goes off saying Ankha has spawned! At first I thought it was just picking up on my own pet, but no, the REAL Ankha was there! A fellow orc hunter tries and fails (fully armored) but he isn't part of my RareCampers channel so I ask there and get a bite. This guy knows how to tame her and does it pretty quick. The white kitty gets a new home! To make things better, that was this guy's FIRST Cata rare he'd ever tamed and his first spirit beast. He said he wanted Skoll so bad, but hearthed anyway when he heard a spirit cat was up. He named her Saran. Not Sarantha, just Saran. A little better, I guess. Haha. He's a young person (around 12) and was so happy he was almost dancing (prolly was irl).

Glad I could keep on the tradition of finding and rehoming pets, even after saying I wouldn't do it anymore. It seems more rares come to me when I DONT look for them rather than when I do. Pure luck, I guess. He's happy with Saran and I'm happy she wasn't killed. The orc hunter who had died tried to kill her after he failed a few times. After my buddy got her, I told him how to do it. He just said "lol that makes no sense" so I think he'll just keep failing at taming them until he looks on WoWhead or Petopia.
