Basically been searching for Gondria (and loque to a lesser extent) for a good two months, checking her spawn points twice or thrice a day to see if she's up. I've seen her ring in the auction house three times and seen loque's cape in the AH once (creys) but today I finally, finally managed to break my dry streak by taming Ankha by complete chance.

I was on my Paladin, leveling, when someone in guild asked if anyone wanted a random heroic. I hopped over onto my hunter and Ankha was literally right below me (I'd been camping last night). He (I'd originally decided Ankha was a girl but I can't exactly have a girl pet called Erik) promptly one-shotted my pet which I'd forgotten to dismiss and I had to feign, revive my pet and dismiss him all while Ankha sped off down the Regrowth. Fortunately I was able to tame him with no interference and popped into my ZA naked with a brand new kitty.



He's no Gondria but I'm pretty damn sure I'm going to be using him for a long time. Favourite spirit beast model by far

I wasn't sure if I liked Ankha at first, but once I tamed her, I was amazed at how bright she is. :3

Also, I haaaate seeing stuff that drops off of rare pets on the AH. I've seen a couple cloaks and necks off of Loque, and even though I have him, it still makes me sad because I know someone else is looking for him. ;_;

Yeah, that was my thing about Ankha too, I thought he was going to be like a really nasty shade of green as bright as Magria is, but I'm actually liking how subtle and white he is.

The only downside to picking him up is that now I'm suddenly inspired to go get more rare pets and that means I'll probably have to start clearing out my stables

I thought so too! I love Magria, but I saw the green on Ankha, and figured I'd let someone else have her.

I had just tamed Terrorpene when someone announced she was up in General, so I took my armor off on the way up there in case no one else was taming. There was no one there and she was REALLY bright. I was amazed at how white she was. I ended up dying to something I managed to pull while taming her, but she was worth it. I'm definitely glad I decided to grab her. ^^;
