WOW I havent been on here since... Winter?
So I got some questions... Cause im interested in taming 2 of the new Spirit Beasts
Magria
- At about what speed does he run?
- Does he phase out? or just keep running untill tamed or somehow killed...
- Can you wear your rings, neck, trinkets still?
Ban'thalos
- Do you really have to be in that tree?... if there is no other way?
Thank you for your help <3

Both Magria and Ahnka alternate between loping and striding along, occasionally stopping to pounce and eat a bug, which really cuted me out.
And um, I didn't tame Banny up in the tree-- I was summoned by some wonderful folks to the half curve of Malorne's perch there, and eventually dropped a trap, flapped up a flap or three, hit banny, dropped back to the perch and tamed. I died twice, but please blame that to my ineptitude at what I was doing and lack of sleep at the time. ;D

Magria-pace is a bit fast but not uncatchable. Anything that gives you an armor stat should be removed. I tamed both cats with my bow only equipped-more as a just in case then anything else.
Banny-No there are other methods-but the tree is the easiest and the one with the most success that I have seen. The other methods-which pull him all the way to the ground, run the risk of more people there to grief you and kill while taming. at least in the tree, there are not that many people in the tree with you!

~ Not very fast. Just a little more pep in her step.
~ No
~ Yes, rings and trinks and weapons dont give armor rating.
~ No but it's the best and easiest method.

::points up at Jessibelle::
Listen to her-- she's the one who helped me ;D Of course I have the Ahnka that formed from her foot, so I am biased.

Magria
- At about what speed does he run? Normal cat speed. Sometimes she speeds up to swat a bug, but she isn't extremely fast.
- Does he phase out? or just keep running untill tamed or somehow killed... She just keeps patting back and forth between her spawn point and the end of the regrowth.
- Can you wear your rings, neck, trinkets still? I would suggest no stats at all. I heard a hunter got owned keeping other stuff on. I could be wrong. Just get nekkid. It can't hurt.
Ban'thalos

There are other ways. You can use a parachute cloak if you're an engi, rocket boots if you're a goblin, some pillow you get from a random quest, a local mage/priest, disengage right before you hit the ground...but the tree is the best and easiest way and requires you to rely on nothing but your ability to hit the Freezing Trap button.

When I tried to tame Banthy the first time, I was on the tree and he was pulled from under me -_- I flew up, hit arcane shot..Banthy came flying over *very mad!* but then he followed some orc who appeared right below him
A mage slow-falled the rogue - he pulled him and took the dmg for another hunter to tame (who hadn't been up in the damn tree 23 hours like me, and was actually in Org when he spawned -_-). If you're the only one on the tree and no one has spotted him, then he's yours if you can push the right buttons in the right order whilst in a blind panic! *mumbles at the memory* xD

I left on my cloak, neck, rings, trinkets, tabard, and both weapons. Mostly for the hp boost, watching my total hp drop like that was terrifying, even though I knew it was the right way.
