Surprise Kitty! (I tamed Skarr...)

So I wasn't actively hunting Skarr.... nor was I even in Molten Front. I thought about getting him from time to time, but I was always a bit unsure. So I was in SW when a guildmate announced that Skarr was up and asked if any hunters were on. I said "I am" and then said "I'm not marksman though..." Mind you I had my second spec empty, so I was only rocking BM (I thought, I could always just spec into it if no one is around or have time)... So I flew my little goat behind over there, at a slow pace too. I was really just expecting to see someone else tame him. And as soon as I went in to the Molten Front, NPC goes boom "Skarr Found!", so naturally I assumed that someone got to him and was showing him off or something. I looked around and saw a hunter with Skarr, but then I checked to be sure.... went over to that area with worms and giants (below him) and sure enough I saw him there on the rocks. He was still there alive and well, and it looked like a few horde guys were up there. So I went up through the fire, died once too 
. And ran back again, still thinking that I can "/cheer" someone after they tame him. As soon as I get there though I see there is a belf hunter in mid tame. So I watch, but seconds later he dies dramatically like those belf males do. I'm guessing he didn't know the trick. Then a troll huntress starts to tame and I'm still watchin', and not only does she die, but I do as well!!! (wtf Skarr, I'm not even near you! or so I thought. heh) Then I noticed my guildmate was there, and also had died.... soooo many bones Skarr, so many bones!!! Well I go back and eat up, watching the belf try again only to feign death to save his life. Then I sigh to myself and spec my empty tree, marksman, up to silencing shot and put that on my bars with tame beast next to it. Seriously, at this point I have given them more than enough chances. The belfs (there was a belf pally too) look at me and I pause for a second, then I get close enough to hit tame beast and he starts charging his ability up, so I silence him and hit tame again. Mid tame he starts charging it up again, but then the tame finished. He was on his rock and didn't come to my side at first, so I thought it failed or something and feigned death. But there was my new kitty! Right by my side! The other hunters went looking on the rocks for him, I suppose they didn't realize I got him (cause he went all stealthy)
I feel bad cause of the other hunters, but I don't think they were prepared. It took me at least 2 minutes or so to get to the Molten Front, and I wasn't even rushing, and another 3 more minutes to realize he was still up, then another 2 minutes to get to him after dying cause it sent me to the far grave site >.<. Those guys were already there before, and then I died the second time (once again, the far grave site!!!) due to another hunters failed attempt and being too close. And having to run back.... I mean... I feel bad, but they died and also had plenty of time. And I really didn't want to jump to my horde toon to tell them about the silencing shot since he was still fair game to me, even if I wasn't actively hunting him. I'm happy with him too, I loved that model when I saw it in the Storm Peaks. But Ankha and Magria were my first priorities anyways... since I have them it can't hurt to add this cool kitty to my stables.
