I GOT HIM.



8:30 is an unusually early wake-up time for me, but I was feeling a little sick and couldn't seem to go back to sleep, so at 8:40 I figured, well, what the heck? I turned on the computer, logged in, and toddled off to do other morning-time things. I had Frozen Lake, Brunnhildar, and Ulduar Ravine covered, but I felt sure that it wouldn't matter because he'd spawn at Waterfall simply because it was the one point I wasn't at. I was half-joking in my mind, but sure enough, NPCScan went off, and when I made my way over to the computer, unconcerned--convinced it was Vyragosa again, because why wouldn't it be?--Time-Lost Proto-Drake was happily flying along below me, obviously a Waterfall spawn, but gloriously, wonderfully untagged. I blinked, then blinked again, still totally disbelieving, and went for it. No jitters, no shakes, no interference whatsoever... I was amazingly calm about the kill. I simply flew down, tagged, drank Snowfall Lager and had him dead in an instant. And now he's mine, and NO MORE STORM PEAKS EVER WOO.

I want to thank you all for encouraging me to continue even when I wasn't sure I could. <3 I really, truly couldn't have done it without you! Previous post included below for the sake of information.

Way back in the mists of time, I swore to myself that I would never camp the Time-Lost Proto-Drake. I told myself that I had better things to do, that I didn't need it and that it was ugly, anyway.

Why, yes, it IS difficult to talk around this foot in my mouth!

So far I'm on my eleventh day of camping and have stopped counting hours put in. Vyragosa sightings and kills are as follows:

8/08 - Vyragosa (Ulduar, time unknown - my kill)
8/11 - Vyragosa (Frozen Lake, 6:29 A.M. - my kill)
8/11 - Vyragosa (Waterfall, 9:23 P.M. - my kill)

8/13 - Vyragosa (Ulduar, 1:35 P.M. - my kill)
8/14 - Vyragosa (Waterfall, 1:09 A.M. - my kill)
8/14 - Vyragosa (Brunnhildar, 3:17 P.M. - my kill)
8/15 - Vyragosa (Brunnhildar, 5:09 A.M. - my kill)

Hour 5 of the day. I'm pretty sure my warp stalker is hitting on my blue proto-drake. Let's all try not to think about the mechanics of that one.

She keeps positioning herself in weird places, like under his head so when she does that air-sniffing idle she looks like she's nuzzling his chin. Apparently it gets even lonelier in Storm Peaks than I thought!

Maybe she's cold?

Doesn't explain why she'd move out from under his wing where she's usually parked to attempt makeouts. I'll set down a campfire anyway.

Seven hours. Five since spawn. Come on, Vyra, let's get this over with.

Could have given me a little hope, guys. ;_; Twelve hours! Still no sign of TLPD or Vyragosa.
