You can use a website called rotasig.com (If this isnt supposed to be posted, sorry =/ ) Just put the code (without [img ] stuff) and there you go ^_^

I used to use Rotasig.com but it kept messing up so I switched to SignAvatar.com. It allows you to have 500 avatars and 500 signatures.

Also be sure to upload any sigs made for you to tinypic or imageshack.

Does photobucket work at all for these?

SignAvatar will accept images from any image-hosted URL (from when I last checked, at least). In case you choose to rotate avatars, too: when loading the URL into Petopia's Avatars section, make sure you replace the default .gif URL ending that SignAvatar gives you, with .jpg or .png. The newly-revised Avatar section on Petopia will only recognize endings of .jpg or .png.

The .gif URL that SignAvatar gives you for siggies is just fine for Petopia's siggies section, though, so copy / paste away for that!

Photobucket tends to have bandwidth issues from time to time. thats why I use tinypic.com.

Ok so guess I'm dumb.. I uploaded them but how do I get Petopia to rotate between the two avatars and siggis I want it to? Help ><! I even read over all the replies in this thread and I'm still lost..

You have to use the link SignAvatar gives you, silly. You upload all your stuff there then replace the link in your sig with the one from Signavatar. Vice versa with the avatar except you gotta replace .gif with .png.

Which link? The image one or the other one and I cant get it to acknowledge I have more than one avatar D:?

Hey! I took some screenshots and highlighted the relevant parts to hopefully address your questions, Vulpixen. Sorry if this covers stuff you already know (e.g., siggie)!

1. Signature



This is the personal URL SignAvatar assigns you. You can retrieve it by clicking on "Edit Sigs" on the right hand side. Copy / paste this into your Petopia signature (below). Same basic procedure as for typical siggies!



2. Avatar



Similar to the siggie, you can access your avatars' personal URL by clicking on "Edit Avatars". Copy / paste this into the location below:



Take note, though, that you'll need to delete the ".gif" and replace it with ".png" (or ".jpg" will work, too).

Yup, you can upload two avatars to SignAvatar, then copy / paste your personal URL. Following the procedure outlined in my previous post, your Petopian account will then rotate between your two (or three, or five hundred =P) avatars. If what you're looking for is to have both avatars displayed at the same time rather than rotating, that isn't currently possible (as far as I know). Hope this helps!

Hmm well the siggy seemd to work but it tells me my avatar is corrupted Im not sure why i replaced the gif with png and jpg..or whatever.. And petopia is telling me this ><

Did you paste the URL into the "Link off-site" text box? I've made the mistake of pasting into "Upload from a URL" before, and that gives the same error message.

EDIT: Nvm, I just refreshed the page and saw your avatar rotate. You got it!
