Why I love my Low Population Server

Because rares are so much easier to find!
I finally finished the quests to get into Molten Front, and first thing I do is trip over Kirix! After a few deaths (I was being stupid >.>; whoopsies) I tamed him without a problem (Concussion Shot, wait til he knocks me in the air, Disengage, Deterrence, Tame). I checked for Deth'Tilac, who wasn't up, and then decided to log for the day.
Next day, I log in and THERE HE IS AGAIN. No hunters in the area wanted to tame him (there was 1 other hunter there besides me
) but there was a paladin and a druid talking in /1 how it was fun to kill rare pets. So I announce in /1 "Kirix is up for hunters who want to tame!" and of course they come, and I get to have some popcorn as I watch them get murdered xD fun times.
Then I decide to look for Deth'Tilac, since he's the other rare spider I want. And this time he was up! I proceeded to learn how to best kite him, using the send pet to die routine, but halfway through he resets >.< just then another nelf hunter arrives with his friend, who was a shaman. (The shaman told me I needed a healer too, and I was like "well he one shots you sooo... not really >.>".) They kited him well after a first fail, and when he got to very low health the hunter kept attacking him, so naturally I screamed at him to tame him, figuring I could find Deth again another time (trust me, I probably will soon anyway.
). He disengage tamed, but Deth'Tilac killed him before he could complete it. I was panicking now, because he was at 50k health and the shaman wouldn't stop attacking him.
So, on instinct, I hit Deterrence - Tame. And somehow I finished it without dying. Yayyy!
