Just tamed Skoll! I've been after lightning dog since Feb. I've done my circles dutifully, looking at his 3 spots. Finally, today, I go to the 3 one, by snowdrift cave. Who's wandering there but Skoll himself! After screeching, I landed, sat there dumbfounded, then remember to trap and tame. The funny part was I was ready to give up.

You may miss most of the shots you take, but you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. (meaning that if you don't try, you'll never get him)
Keep at it, it takes time, patience, luck, time, patience and luck. Did I mention time, patience, and luck?
You will find him, worry not!

Well,
I'd have kept Scoll if he just wasn't using the ( Starving Worg ) model... I always tell myself these awesome rares are what I need to round out my 3 empty stable slots, but I never keep them in the end. Sadly I camp them for weeks sometimes, get them, and then just can't connect. Maybe if Blizzard would allow me to have feed Scoll cheeseburgers to fatten him up I could have warmed to him...
But, don't pay any attention to me... I'm the guy that uses Bears and a Cat for sentimental reasons lol... Most Hunter's look at me and shake their heads I'd imagine...
I do hope you enjoy your spirit Wolf and feed that poor creature please...
