So lately, I have been not camping TLPD, and finishing off my dailies for MF/Hyjal. But every time I go there, there is SOME rare beast up x. x
And it's either:
Kirix
Skarr (it's rarely ever Karkin)
Deth'tilac
but that isn't the story..
Today well doing Druid of the Talon dailies, I move my mouse over (Yes I am a clicker, if you should put it that way...) over where all the spiders are and I see, "Solix"
My first thought is, OH COME ON. IT'S ALWAYS RARE BEASTS AND NEVER RAVENLORD OR CHOCOBO.
Well, my second thought was, Oh...that's the last rare I dont have from Molten Front..
Last time I saw solix up, he was murdered by druids. But this time, I saw a DK being chased by fire Elementals. I just keep moving towards solix. Set down Freezing Trap, Concussive shot, and run. Turn around, Concussive Shot, repeat. Then I see solix's buffs drop, and I click tame beast. I watch him become smaller, and I was happy.

Why do you want a chocobo? They're UGLY and they're EVERYWHERE! Just get exalted with Silvermoon and you can buy your very own hideous bird mount. Get exalted with Org instead. Wolves pwn all. Best mounts in the game, imo.

Oh, and Raven Lord? Reskinned Raptor. Grind lowbie troll quests and just get a regular green raptor. It even has feathery shit on its head.

Grats on Solix!

I love the Raven Lord mount because I like ravens IRL. And I love it for the fact that it does use the raptor skeleton. I can have the "raptor" mount I always wanted (I love how they run and all that), with a bird I really like! That and I love the details on it. It's just my favorite mount in the game, period.

I love the raven mount as well. Me and two friends had been trying for MONTHS to get him to drop. Every chance we got we went in and tried. Then, one day, a druid friend of ours popped on. She had not been on in months. She tagged along. And of course, the mount dropped. And yes, she won the roll. But as a druid, we were happy for her. But yes, I cried a bit haha.

He is gorgeous.

@Sara, I'm actually not horde..if I was, I wouldnt even be farming these mounts (well I would for a d-hawk, but still).

I actually like ravenlord, because one of the Celtic Goddesses is the goddess of ravens, so it kinda fits into my Celtic background.
