Hehe, I tamed him on one of my alts, and being a night elf with the brown striped saber mount I named him "MiniMount" XD he's my travel companion.

A lot of people have/want this pet. What is so special about it? I've looked at it, and don't see a lot special about it. Is it a really rare spawn? I mean, it looks pretty, but is it super rare or something?

Not rare at all really, I think he's usually up. He's just a pretty model. Doesn't have to be hard to get to be desired.

Yeah I think his respawn time is only a couple minutes, but I just think he's cool looking! Especially for Horde cuz he's in Alliance territory.

yep it respawns very quickly. It was my first rare pet. When i went back to that place a couple minutes later he was there again

Ah, I see. Might have to get me one. I know they don't have to be rare to be desired. I have a green and yellow parrot that isn't a rare, but I still love him. He's got such a pretty model.

I tamed orignal shadow claw back in vanilla
It was one of my first tames, back when he had normal model. i came in auberdine (sp) on a boat and i saw a level60 hunter with a translucent cat. (the idol summon one, i didnt know at the time) i asked him how she got it and she told me it was a rare cat that i had to find. naturally i started questing, i was level 13-14 at the time and suddenly this cat attacked me from no where, Shadowclaw. he killed me and i respawned i ran around and found him stealthed again, he killed me again... i respawned and tamed him i got lucky he attacked a deer, it broke his stealth and i tamed him... boy was i dissapointed

He really just is a pretty skin that there is only one version of.
I love that cat, and usually make the run to go get him on any of my hunters that I am-and on a horde toon that is a mighty hike! Congrats on getting him.

Aw, he's beautiful! He's definitely one of the better-looking saber kitties in my opinion. Congrats!
