Ok, i've never made a story before so I wouldnt expect the best read possible. Feel free to tell me what you think.
This is how i met Dakota(old cliff jumper) I would love some feedback though.
Liyra got another quest to kill some evil trolls, she was longing for somthing diffrent, but she needed the money. So this time instead of taking a taxi flight to the Hinterlands she decided to ride her deathcharger. Riding the swift steed was an amazing experience to her. She closes her eyes, feeling the wind blow through her hair and help her cool down on the hot day. The sound of Deathchargers hooves hitting the ground were like music to her, always in a constant rythm. Usually she doesn't make her mounts run this far, this fast, but he could take it. After all he cant feel tired, or pain anymore, his nerves rotted off years ago before he was risen from his grave. All of a sudden she felt a chill go down her back, making her flinch. For some reason while riding Deathcharger she would get chill when danger is near. She told him to slow down, he slowed to a trot and she gazed around. She couldn't see anything, anywhere but she felt the chill again. She heard a deep growl and looked up to see a huge wolf, twice the size of the ones she saw earlier. It leeped off the rock it was standing upon and she covered her face. Deathcharger leaped forward and spun around, she fell forward and grabbed his neck. Deathcharger reared up and charged towards the huge grey-black wolf and it ran off. She thanked her trusty friend and went back to searching for trolls.
While she was riding she kept thinking about that wolf, unable to get his huge green eyes out of her mind. Then suddenly it clicked, "It must have been old cliff jumper", she said to Deathcharger. He was cocked his head sideways as if deep in thought. She was thinking outloud, "I've only heard of him in tales, I never thought he was real.". Finaly after hours of searching she found the trolls, they were even bigger and bulkier than before, "Maybe there Zul' Aman trolls." she though outloud again. She dismounted and told Deathcharger to go hide behind the hill, he relunctanly did as told. She creeped up closer to the gates, took out her bow and took aim at the biggest trolls head. Then she felt a enourmos pain in the back of her head and spun around, only to be greated by a knife in her side. She pulled out her sword and chopped the troll leaving him in a bleeding pile. She called her friend who came running, she mounted up and he galloped as smoothly as he could to a spot he thought was safe. Liyra got down and started fixing her wounds, she was going to be fine, but for now she needed to rest.
She stared at the fire, daydreaming about random things. Her eyes went out of focus and when they focused again she saw two huge green eyes about 20 feet away. It was the wolf from earlier, he stood behind the fire, which gave the look of a demon god. He, or atleast she thought it was a he, lowered his head and walked closer. Her weapon was behind the wolf, she couldn't get it if she tried. She grabbed the meat she had from the stag she killed earlier. She ripped a tiny peice of and threw it at the wolf who scooped it up. She made a little trail closer to her, he was starting to lose the vicious look in his eyes. When he got 5 feet from her she could see almost every bone in his body. She had two peices left, she put out the hand with the food, at first he backed away then he creeped forward to grab it. She reached out her other hand and he let her pet him while he was eating. She ran out of food but reached out her hand and he pushed his head against it.
He stayed next to her for the next two nights, he helped keep her warm with his thick fur. It came time for her to leave, but the wolf she now called Dakota did not want to leave her side. So he became her permanent companion. She finished off her quest killing the trolls, she was amazed by the amount of loyalty and bravery Dakota showed already. She headed back to the Undercity, first thing she did was buy more food for Dakota. She was a bit concerned about how he would do with other people. A young undead child ran up to Dakota, Liyra reached out trying to stop her but missed. She spun around to see if he bit the child but he was rubbing up on her like a cat. He licked her on the face and she giggled.
A couple months later, hes in good health, and no longer skin and bones. He is built like a brick and convered in muscle. He has been by her side through thick and thin and doesnt hesitate to put his life on the line for her. He has earned his stay as a permanent compainion.

Re: Dakota's story
I like your story.
Poor old wolf was just hungry, not vicious, and you nursed him back to health. It's a sweet story.
Re: Dakota's story
That was a great introduction to Dakota. The empathy you used to describe Liyra's relationship with her Deathcharger was particularly fine: it makes me think how Art treats her mount like it's a car, when there's no reason to treat it with any less respect than she does her pets. Food for thought!
