I've had an interesting few weeks. A few months ago I would have sworn that getting 100 mounts was just impossible for me and it would never happen. Then my brother started getting mounts… lots of mounts. I felt really lame looking at my 80-some and his 98, so I decided to try at least gathering a few more. I only had one Argent Tournament mount, after all, and no battleground mounts.
But, then, I forgot to mention something. I hate AT dailies. I hate them with a burning passion. I also hate battlegrounds, and I don't do enough heroics to get all the Honor mounts through JP. After buying all the 400g AT mounts, I still had about 8 more to get. Shoot.
And then I started getting stupidly lucky. The white Hawkstrider dropped, Poseidus was up after one check, and then the Blue Proto dropped. I did a few dungeons and I managed to get two Honor mounts, and I forced myself to do enough AT dailies to get a mount. And suddenly…
Huh.
…But this isn't going to stop me from farming more mounts. xD
