I'm very sorry if this topic has been made already, but I'd like to hear about your thoughts on this.

Scenario:

You've been camping a rare pet/mount that you've wanted for SO long. You're truly dedicated to camping it and you think you deserve it for that alone. You've seen people come and go, but none have stayed for as long as you have. You truly own this turf while you sit your long wait out for your prize.

One day as you log in to camp, you see a player of the opposing faction sitting in your spot. It irritates you mildly, but you decide they'll probably leave soon as they can't be as loyal as you are! But they don't go. They stubbornly camp just as much as you do...

Do you:

A) Go ahead and let them camp in the same spot as you. It's a free world, let the best man win!

B) Gank his ass. No way in hell is he getting what you've spent so much time waiting for. WAIT YOUR TURN N00B!111

C) Wait patiently until the rare has spawned and then decide to kill the player and grab the rare yourself, then proceed to teabag the players body. HAHA, LOSER!

D) Stare obliviously into space and question life.

All of these scenario's, I've encountered myself (yes, even D while I've been camping hours ) but I'd like to know what the rest of you would do, HONESTLY. No judgment on what other people say, please.

I would do A), because in all honesty, every rare is fair game. If someone else got it, I'd just say, "Oh well. It'll spawn again." Then I'd /cheer for the person that got it.

B
I wont continue, first time i kill them its a warning i dont want them there and i can kill them.
If they come back for seconds then i will frost trap them say no, then proceed to kill them, and if they come back any more times i will simply kill them, i wont spawn camp them i hate that, i will let them get full health and give them the option to run or not.

I answer... D! =D

But it would either be A or B. The rare spawn is free game for anyone, but on a PvP server so is the other hunter. Also depends on his gear and if there are too many of the opposite faction around. >.>

That's exactly the same as me. I won't be mean about it, but I'll kill whoever treads on my turf while I'm camping. It's probably a horrible thing to do, but it's a dog eat dog world in my eyes and I'll only stand aside for my friends who I would let have it first, otherwise, you goin' down fool!

B) If I'm here you leave or get mauled.

A. They have as much right to the rare as I do.

If you're red, you're dead. So B.

Pretty much exactly this... So long as you don't mind the same treatment yourself if someone stumbles upon you while camping or taming (the while taming might be a bit more sketchy.. but again.. pvp server all is fair game).

I'll go with..

E) wish them good luck and either take a break from the camping or move to a different spot. I'm all for first come, first serve when it comes to camping spots so unless I know the person to be a dickhead, I'll just leave them. If they've griefed me in the past, I'll give em hell in return. :P

Oh yes, this. Anyone who turns up after I'm in a camping location, though, is in trouble.

Well, my only real gripe about the B answer is of the one thing I always thought was legit...

If your in a camping spot first, and no one is around, its yours. If someone comes by WHILE your in that camping spot, yeah. B. I was here first, they can wait their turn.

BUT, If you log out to quit camping....Your giving that spot up. If someone comes in and takes over that camping location while your gone, then basically they took your place in line because you stepped out. Im not ganking anyone for that.

Thats how Ive always played it on a PVP server when I camp.
