A Tale of 2 Skarrs (3, but only 2 pictured).

It's Saturday morning, 5am. I already had it in my head I wasn't going to tame any of the new 4.2 rares on my main hunter at least until 4.3, the grieving and camping is just too much. I jump into the Molten Front, start doing dailies and BAM! NPCScan goes off...it's Skarr. The one pet I wanted when the new 4.2 pets were revealed.
Now flash back to shortly before Cataclysm dropped. I was on a lucky streak of Spirit Beast tames, catching them all while my girlfriend Twigget was having no luck whatsoever. Well I helped her snag a Skoll after the spawn timer reset (after my tame); so this was time for payback. I woke her up and told her Skarr was up. She jumps to her desk, logs on and I swear--it was like taming a Vanilla common to her.
It's now Sunday at 7am. After helping another hunter yesterday get Skarr (who sent me a lovely mail with thanks), my girlfriend wakes ME up. "He's up!" She is on my hunter, competing with a Horde for Skarr. After a pain in the ass tame this time around...me (Mezcaal, Human Hunter) and her (Twigget, Draenei Hunter); now have matching Skarr pets.

Side note, the Orc sent me a mail with all sorts of sad face commentary. I replied wishing him good luck; and my girlfriend actually let him have his shot, but at the end of the day the spirit of competition turned in our favor with no dirty tricks.
