We have 2x cat spirit beast 1 dog 1 bear

i want a birdie as spirit beast (anything except owls )



i always like having a bird flying next to me an eagle or a falcon would be nice ( although there arent any falconskins ingame yet)



so what u think the next spirit beast should be ?? (prolly in cataclysm since no new patches coming )

With the positive feedback players have given, I sincerely doubt Blizz will stop doing this particular fan service.

But, I do think the "spirit" aspect will be taken out. It was mentioned in another thread I think, something about elemental pets. This seems like a very viable idea, and we'll probably see some new pet family based on that.

Their family skill will most likely be some sort of ranged magic attack. For each beast, it will be a different element (I'm guessing).

So, fire breathing devilsaur, ftw?

A Spirit Eagle... That would be quite nice. I kind of want to see a Spirit Raptor of some sort, but Blizzard may not be releasing anymore. D:

BUT

Perhaps, we may be seeing some Spirit Beasts in Kalimdor or EK. Consider most of the zones are getting revamped. =D

I think it was discussed in one of Mania's posts way back in the day, but I would love it if some of the 'spirit' forms were more zombie-ish.

For example, the windserpent goddess in ZD had an AWESOME looking prophet that had a bone-windserpent look. It's still 'spirit' ish, in that it's connected to the divine or the afterlife, but it doesn't have to look pretty or see-through. I'd love to see something like that.

If it had to be a bird id say a spirit tallstrider. But I think a spirit core hound would be a really good looking choice or a spirit devilsaur.

They should make a spirit beast for each faction, that can only be tamed by the faction its with. a spirit wyvern and spirit gryphon perhaps?

Blizzard would never do that, they hate when something is only useable for one faction.

It's like the Silvermoon Dragonhawks, a cool, silvery dragonhawk whose skin was only obtainable for Alliance, they later made a mob with the same skin that is tameable for every hunter, just so it wouldn't be unfair.

hmm. I d rather like to see a spirit serpent. A spirit ravager sounds cool too.

I agree, that would be pretty cool.

But ravagers are an alien race, so a spirit version showing up in Azeroth seems... just plain odd.

It would be nice if Blizz went back and put spirit beasts in already known zones, such as some OL zones.

Raptor; Azeroth model, feathers are flames, white stripes and deep silver body, death knight blue eyes, and blue glowing feet.
Cat (yes, another); Tauren Druid (dark brown mane and golden fur) without markings and a Path of Cenarius footstep animation
Crocodile; all 3 lake spirits in Sholazar. MAKE IT HAPPEN BLIZZARD, THE DAILY ISN'T EVEN CONSISTENT

For a bird Spirit Beast... I'd say get a spectral carrion bird with two heads!
