Okay.. so my hunter tamed Skoll.. Originally, I didn't know if I was gonna keep him.. but if you're interested in all that, you can read my other thread! Now I'm thinking I'll keep him, at least for now. Problem is.. I can't think of a name.. I REALLY want him named after the little zappy sounds he makes when just idling around... As they're probably the one big reason I don't want to let him go, heh.

I'd totally go with just some random made-up fantasy sounding name that also sounds... zappy...

Usually I just toss around sounds in my head... but I usually give myself a lot more freedom to work with, so it's kind of hard. I also don't generally work with zappy sounding letter combos..

So.. I was thinking something with "z", "t", "ts", "ks", "kz" kind of sounds... Anyone have any ideas? Even just a starting point to provide some inspiration for my mind to work off of would be GREAT.

Hmm, what about Plazzma? Plasma is found in lightning, so it could work.

Or...perhaps something like Lupusz, for canis lupus (wolf).

You're right, this is harder than I thought it'd be.

The only fantasy name I can think of that also has some "zappy"-sounding letters is Drizzt.

What about Piezo, from piezoelectricity?

Hmm.. Drizzt could be something to work with... I like the sound of it.. I'm just not a HUGE fan of using someone else's name intentionally.. The exception being some of my WoT fan/tribute names (I have an Old Cliff Jumper on my puppy hunter named Mashadar).

Hmm.. I might be able to work with the concept though... Triszt, Ksazzt, Ziksrazt, hmm..
