Several of my friends and guildies have called me insane and constantly say "WTF?" when I tell them I am leveling a fourth mage. I already have 2 lvl 85 mages and one stuck at lvl 70 that I don't play because he's a human and looks like a constipated monkey when casting anything. My baby mage just hit lvl 20 today. He's a BElf and I love him. He's got all the heirloom gear and is in a lvl 25 guild, so has all the exp/mount perks, so he'll be 85 in no time.

So, is it insane to have 4 high levels of the same class? I really love mages, by the way. My favorite class, even moreso than hunters.

Not at all. I'm the same way with hunters, I have 4 on my main server and countless alts scattered around. I just enjoy levelling them and creating them each with a unique stable. Plus, different races, genders, and talent specs can make a completely different character each time even if it's the same class. If you love a class, you love a class. As long as you have fun, who cares who thinks you're insane.

No, I have two level 85 hunters (and another one in the works at level 53), and a level 85 druid (with another sitting at 39. good GOD he is amazing to play in pvp).

I also have a 61 rogue who doesn't get enough love, and I recently did a character sheet wipe so my DK who was resting pretty at 80 is now gone because I could never get into the swing of leveling the poor bastard anymore. ;c

My bf thinks I am crazy to have 2 hunters on alliance side and also two healer priests (granted my horde one has a shadow spec, I just never use it)... But he is one to talk! He has made about 6-7 warriors since he started playing the game. He is always making and remaking them. (Right now he has three active warriors...and one was his former main stuck at 82) Worst part is they were nearly all Protection warriors. (That silly man, everyone knows Fury is the best spec )

I've always considering rolling another hunter Alt, but I don't know why I can't level them far. D: I have my 85 hunter that is my pride and joy, but I always considered rebirthing my Tauren Hunter. Cept I have no room on my realm unless I delete my level 20 Warrior. XD I'd have a million hunter alts if I wasn't so limited on character slots.

My main at 85-Shade (worgen). My Petopian one at 78-Kitsune (blood elf). One in the 60's range-Gypsi (night elf), three in the 20-30 range-Riz (goblin), Sherloc(dwarf) and Sidhe (night elf)-and.....

On my RP server, I have my 'main' there-Sidhe-and then one each of all the playable races a hunter can be-though I've not started any but maybe two of them, I did make them with the intent of some time trying out each of the races-up to like 20-just to see how each race feels as a hunter...

And I have three druids, a shammy, two dk's and two mages spread out amongst my servers too lol.

I deleted Umbriah cause I cant get into the night elf hunter....

But I have Jessibelle(85 worgen), Taluwen(85 blood elf), Lisaara(85 draenei), and Titala(64 orc) and thats only on my main server. I got a few more hunters spread amongst rp servers.

Altogether, I have 9 lvl 85 toons on my main server, Runetotem. 2 mages, paladin, DK, priest, druid, shaman, hunter, and rogue. Both mages are hordeside, one is a BElf. The one I'm leveling now is a BElf on Runetotem. I can see why that'd be a bit insane.

It's ok Sarantha, my husband (and WoW playing friends) consider me a raging lunatic for having the amount of same classes as I do. Currently I'm sitting at 2 warriors, 4 druids, 9 hunters, 2 priests, 2 shaman and 2 paladins, as well as a warlock and a mage. You play what you enjoy, and who cares what others say?

pft. i have some 20 hunters, some 14 or so mages, then a mixture of the other classes

I think its safe to say we all have multiple hunters here lol

Embrace the insanity, I have 2 level 85 hunters same side same guild, 2 druids different sides 4 baby hunters and am debating on making a second rogue...that was the first class i ever leveled and I think I missed alot on on the enjoyment of doing the quests.

I have 3 druids and two hunters. that's all I play. What's more, the three druids are feral, and both hunters are BM. If you love a class, that's what you enjoy! I never clicked with any other class, and I gave up trying and just enjoy playing what I feel comfortable and happy with.

I'm presently leveling my 2nd Mage... I refer to them as "portal whores". (while fun to play, their main purpose is to get my other toons from one place to another)
Almost all my toons are hunters, on three accounts and on my main server, I have 2 warlocks, 2 priests (only one of which I really play), a single warrior, 2 shamans (2 shamen? a shaman and a shawoman?), and the balance is (as if you had to guess) hunters, almost all of which are level 85.

on my other servers, almost all I have are hunters as well.

2 85 dks, 2 85 hunters, 85 mage, 85 sham, 85 druid, 85 rogue, 85 priest, 85 pally, 82 dk, 73 dk, 44 hunter, 41 druid, 33 rogue, 30 hunter.... and more, so insane is a matter of perception, and as people said, you do what you like to do, who cares how insane it seems.

How about taming 2 of the same pet? As of now, I've tamed Kirix twice and Karoma twice, all because no one wanted them and I either couldn't (Kirix) or didn't want to (Karoma) kill them for their tears.

On one hunter or across different hunters?

All of my hunters have a small black wolf, the original, Hel, was my companion while leveling my first hunter then her main raiding buddy back in WOTLK. That wolf has gone through three race changes with my main toon-so he knew her when she was a BElf. In honor of him, I get one on each of my hunters and they all have names that are variations of the first: Styx, Abaddon, etc except for Sherloc's-I had to call that one Blackwood on the insistance of my buddy (the pets for that hunter are all named characters from the books).

I have Loque, Krush and Articus on my two hunters that are a high enough level to tame him. Pogyean is on most of my lowbies-and all of my hunters have had him at one time or another.

I likely have many more that I've tame multiples of I just cant double check at the moment as the armory is down right now.

I also got a level 85 druid, lvl 60 Warrior, lvl 20 Rogue, Lvl 30 Mage, Lvl 30 druid....

That just doesn't make any sense to me. Why not leave them for someone else to tame later? Really, it IS ok to walk away from a rare.

I've heard they despawn after being up for so long. I ACTUALLY SAW IT HAPPEN to Solix, and several other people saw it happen to other mobs that stayed up for too long. I have no idea what the despawn timer is, but I'm betting its 3-5 hours. Sure, I could've waited until someone came along 4 hours later, but I really liked this pet, and saw nothing wrong with having two of them if it was just going to be killed or despawn. TwiHi is a rather populated area still, for the dailies, so someone was bound to come along and kill it. There were also A LOT of hunters in the area, and none wanted it, so I figured it isn't hurting anyone at all if I tame it. I didn't kill it for the lulz or the 25g, like most people would have, but tamed it for actual use.

I saw Skarr sit up for about 1 hour on my server and he was murdered, so you can tell why I feared for Karoma's life on my server. Dicks abound on Runetotem. I'd rather it have a happy home than be murdered for 25g.
