This thread is just going to be a fun little project I told myself I'd do once I found Aeonaxx. While I was camping for him I started trying to make all sorts of deals to get him to spawn. Spending those hours (read: months) in Deepholm nearly drove me insane, and I couldn't help but think of how boring it would be to be stuck there forever. I promised that if I were to get my Phosphorescent Stone Drake, I would take him on a tour through all of Azeroth and Outland, taking a screenshot in every single zone (all that allowed flying mounts at least). I figured he would love to get some fresh air and see the world after being cooped up in that depressing cavern.

Well, I finally have him, so it's time to keep my end of the deal. I'll be starting on his tour soon, so I made the thread in advance. I'm not sure how many zones I'll do at once, but I'll post them all in here as I do them. ^^

Some background info: I did indeed name my Phosphorescent Stone Drake. Aeomortis was derived from the prefix Aeo- which seems to be the trend with the stone dragons. Then in my daydreaming while camping, I realized I associated the green and purple colouration with the Forsaken and undead themes, so in my mind this mount was going to be a sort of plagued stone drake, infused by necrotic energy. How does a rock dragon become undead? Uhh...a wizard did it. Anyways, that's just how I envision my mount, and mortis (latin '-of death' of course) was a good word to tie it all together.

Thanks everyone! Edited the post with a few more. This is going to take a long time. I also might have to wait until daytime for some zones since I feel it'll suit them better. Anyways, there's 9 postcards up currently. I might plan to do 10 per post or so. ^^

I agree with Atalanta, Aeomortis looks simply spectacular in Winterspring. Look forward to seeing all of these!

Another dozen finished today. ^^ And that's the end of the Kalimdor tour! Moving on to Eastern Kingdoms next.

The Thousand Needles and Un'Goro Crater ones are just perfect! He looks like he's rowing that piece of wood out on the water with his foot.

Question though - How'd you make those nice borders you do in Photoshop?

What font is that, Vephriel? I really like it!!!
