So I've rehomed Skarr, Magria, Skitterflame and helped with Deth in the past two days, and figured karma owed me one.

It just came in the form of Solix and a nice hunter.

Log on, check Uldum, nope...head over to the molten front.
Eagle Eye to Deth, nope.
Mouse over some of the red dots near...and it's Solix.
Now, I've tried it before, but failed due to fireballs interrupting me.

I rush over, and see another hunter leaving.
I set-up, but he missed one of my traps and makes me go boom.
As I return, another hunter comes into the cave, sees this, and offers help.
First try, I didn't have enough aggro, so we reset him.
Second try, I get too close before the buff wears off and I die again.

Third try is the charm, and then I've got a new Fire Spider.


Named him Slix, because it's almost his real name, and because he was rather slick.


...and in trying to return to Hyjal from Org to take the picture, I somehow went to Uldum by mistake...

Grats. And Uldum is awesome, when its not burning in Deathwing's flames (he seems to scorch Uldum and only Uldum on my server, starkittens can attest to this).

He roasted Uldum yesterday or the day before here too.
I got the hell out of there as soon as I saw it, and then went and killed two more of my alts.

Congrats! Slix seems to suit him well

I honestly think you need a break, if you're now hunting people down in other threads to try guilting them over something that is absolutely not their fault. It's as bad as the "bragging" you were complaining about.

How was this a brag on how easy it was to tame... I thought it was one of us sharing with the REST of us that they'd tamed a pet they'd wanted and found.

Hell, the RNG sucks sometimes-- I hunted since the day we first saw him for that wonderful green devilsaur and I only tamed him about 4 months ago... that's YEARS of hunting... and I cheered EACH AND EVERY TIME anyone else posted about taming one, whether they sat for days as I did, or just came across him.

That's why we're here, aren't we? To share our experiences and SUPPORT one another, and to often, get help to do or get what we want... I deeply appreciate every person I have met via this community-- whether just for chat, or for helping me get pets I would never have gotten any other way.

Oh, and there have been MANY dry periods for me too... when I sad for day after day, hour after hour for a pet.. sadly, that's part of being a hunter wanting a skin that is rare.

So I say again congrats to the hunter and their new friend and hope you are able to step away from the anger and remember the good you have done, that others have done for you, and that when it is time, you'll find your lovely blue Madex.
