TLPD

Well, Tracee, my husband, has been wanting the TLPD for quite some time but until lately, was not willing to put the time in to camp it. So over the past week and a half, we have been in Storm Peaks until Vyragosa would show up and then we'd get to go play for 4 hours and it was back to the camping spots! Since we had a long weekend (with Labor day and my husband is off on Fridays so he had 4 straight days), we decided we were going to dedicate the time. The first couple of days, I had my mage at Brunn's spawn point, husband was at frozen lake spawn point, my warlock (on a separate account) was at Ulduar's spawn point, and Kalliope was kind enough to sit the waterfall spawn point. Remind you, we're horde and Kalliope is alliance...so we put her closest to Tracee so he could get to it fast. My warlock's guild did not have the guild perk of summonings so I quit guild and joined my step son's guild (level 25) because she might need this being way out in Ulduar. As you probably can tell, there was a lot of thought going into this and we wanted to make sure it we had 'problems' covered!
When Kalliope logged on Saturday, we parked my son's hunter in her spot since his account is in my name with him being under age. We had two laptops running and two desktops running, with all four known spawn points covered..and we were all in a group! We were all mounted on flying mounts too since there was an alliance druid that kept trying to blow us off the cliffs and kill us. After the second time, we took him down though and guess what, no more issues with him.
By Sunday, we were stir crazy!
Around 1:30 PM, my warlock was getting her face eaten off and when I turned to look at the laptop (expect Vyragosa since we'd seen so much of Vyra by this time), I realize it was the TLPD! Husband was sitting beside me (after all, he had to take care of two of the characters and I had my two!) and I started yelling...get down here...hurry! He was already in flight. Remember, he was at the frozen lake and my warlock was at the Ulduar spawn point....quite a ways apart. Even though we were in a group, I told him, make sure it's red to you and not grey! He said no, it's grey. I said ok, I have to lose aggro and you have to pick it up after it resets. So, in the spirit of sacrifice, I committed suicide on my warlock and jumped over the edge, off the ledge, and fell quite a ways down to my death. I lost aggro and it reset at the spawn point at which time, my husband picked it up and took it down! He was so excited and telling everyone...real id friends and guild..and even calling his sons that play! I told him when he got through with the celebration, it would be really nice of him to use that new flying mount and fly down to my body and rez me! (he was on a pally)
I was almost as excited about the camping part being over with as I was to the fact he'd finally gotten the mount!
