Which 5 in call pet?

I am wondering which 5 pets you use in your 5 call pet slots. I have so many that I love I am having a hard time deciding lol.

I am BM spec & I don't really raid on this char only on alt runs or t11 stuff if a group is down someone & I fill in. I feel partly compelled to go with pets with buffs vs pets I just love lol.

I have my oil stained wolf for the crit buff & because I l<3ve him lol. Though I generally almost never use him, sometimes when I am doing a troll and things are not going well and we don't have the buff.
I have my turtle Terrorpene tanking pet,
I have Deth the spider for pvp & that I use when I am questing/dailys before I used to use Loque'nahak (now he sits in my stables :( )
I have my instance pet which I used to use Gondria but I just got Ban'thalos and so have been using him.

That right there is 4. I would love to take my corehound Chromaggus for the heroism which is nice to have but I also really love having that 5th slot open until I get my last 2 rare spawn tames I am searching for.

I so kindof wish I could call the stable anytime I needed it or even on cooldown lol.

My active stables are constantly changing. I tend to keep at least 2 pets on me that I could bear to release if I happen to stumble upon something I can't do without. I also usually keep at least one spirit beast (lately it's been Watergate, my Ban'thalos... he makes my brain explode but he's growing on me), Maurice (my Karkin), and my silithid Walter or spider Harold. I have a new spider though... I recently tamed Gretheer. I camped him for ages in TBC, and flew around his spawn points a few times in WoTLK and never saw him. I finally found him a few days ago and haven't named him yet. He'll probably be in the silithid/spider slot for a while.

Core Hound, Cat, Spirit Beast and either Warp Stalker or Beetle. If I'm doing heroics, I'll grab my Wolf along, too - if I PVP, I'll bring a Spider.

I've started using the random stable macro that Worba made :D Along with my random pet macro... So I swap out both my 5 callable pets, and my currently active pet a LOT. Unless I'm doing something specific.. I'll just stick with that. If I'm doing some serious runs, I'll bring a variety of buff pets.. Or make sure I have a spirit beast if I'm running with my guild healer who's still gearing up.

I ALWAYS have Suki on hand though (my Skarr). SHe's probably the most personal/sentimental pet I have.. and there isn't much that would make me stick her in the stable.

I am having pet issues as well, but it's more that I am a bit ocd of what pets I bring along with me. I *always* have a tank pet, a core hound, cat/wolf and a spirit beast. And I *must* have that last slot open, since I don't have a portable stable master xD

I usually only carry four pets with me at once. My two PvE pets, Cat and a Wolf, are in slots one and two. Slot three is my fire turtle for tanking and slot four has my Spider as my PvP. I'll bring out a random pet in the fifth slot every now and again or save it for a quick tame in case I need one.

When I'm BM (I'm usually Marks) I just bring along my Spirit Beasts and/or my Corehound. XD

Cat (Sambas), Wolf (Oil-Stained), Turtle (Terrorpene) always stay with me.

The other three change between:
Dragonhawk (for SV if I have Cat and Wolf buffs)
Ravager (for MM if I have Cat and Wolf buffs)
Gorilla (for ZG panther boss interrupts)
Raptor (for armor sunder if needed)
Hyena (for increased bleed damage if needed)

I allways have 4 pets, rarely do I have a 5th. My first slot allways is one of my beloved cats, normaly my blue tiger and longest had companion, Shy (my other two cats are Shadowtoez (rare Shadowclaw) and Envy (Sambas) ) then either my ghost wolf Romeo or my ghost dog from Kara. My second slot is my armored boar BeepCakez (sometimes my yellow and black warpie, Kek but normaly my boar has won that spot) and the last spot is a drifter depending on my mood or what I am doing.

I usually always have a tank pet with me as well as two ferocity pets, and sometimes a cunning. I switch between them a lot, but I try and at least have one tank pet. I don't raid on her, so I don't care about the buffs. Really its whatever I am in the mood to play with. And I try and have 1 slot empty incase I have the desire to tame something and I am not near a stable master.

I typically can't decide. I often use the random-pet-picker, and just make sure I have a beetle/turtle with me.. I've been having "Pet bonding" trouble.

I think I'm the only person who doesn't normally bring a tanking pet. Call me underprepared, but I mostly PvP nowadays so a turtle/beetle isn't as important to me and I can never find one I like anyway.

My typical pet slots:

1. Bit(Myst Spinner)for PvP/RP. He's my baby<3
2. Flippy(Rustberg Gull) for lols/PvP/RP. I don't use him nearly as much as Bit.
3. Lemmy(Snarler) for PvE and dailies.
4. Hiras(Springpaw Stalker) for PvE/dailies/lols because he's named after the BEST MAGE EVER™.

Slot number 5 is normally empty for random tames, but if it has to be filled:

5a. Ryan(Sandskin Pincer), for when I absolutely need something to tank with.
5b. Pymethe(Azzere) for PvE/RP.
5c. Tiffany(Thornfang Ravager) for PvE/lols.

I'm fixing to drop my BM spec for Marks, but I have pulled out a core hound/spirit beast sometimes.

Depends really, I tend to rotate my pets out. My main shuffle recently has been..

1. Devilsaur-King Krush
2. Cat-Skarr or a saber cat
3. Wolf-Snarler or Corehound-Chromaggus or Silthid
4. Tanking type: Shale Spider-Jadefang or Crab-Karkin or Blue Rhino
5. Always have a spirit beast. These days its either Loque or Banny

I always seem to have a devilsaur, spirit beast and tank type on hand at all times these days.

I tend to change my 'active 5' constantly when I'm grinding. The only constant is my Banny 'Calliente', and my turtle 'Panzer'. Often my Jormungar 'Ebonlocke' is there as well, but it's not as much a constant as a common.

When I'm random dungeoning, though, there's a set I *always* bring:

Silithid (for Fort)
Core Hound (Heroism)
Shale Spider (Kings/Paw)
Devilsaur (+5 crit)
Ravager (+3% physical damage)

Sometimes other buffs are needed (most commonly the extra spell damage), but that grouping probably covers 90% of the groups I'm in for 'buffs that are missing and are needed'.

Silithid Collosus
Spirit beast
Devilsaur
Crab
(random pet will soon be perminantly hydra, maybe hydra to replace devilsaur)

blam 10 seconds flat

Nanaki: Red Hyena, my partner.
Barret: Terropene, my tank.
Vlakorados: Chromaggus, my hero
Spirit beast: either Ultima (loque), Cetra (karoma), or Lifestream (Ban'thalos)
Random pet (usually switched once a week)

Then all pets exept Barret are tied into a /castrandom call pet. So its always fun to see who's going to run that dungeon with me. And barret has his own "ohshitwerewiping" summon macro

Since I've gone over to BM, I usually run with the following five:

Bear (tank)
Wolf (for the crit buff)
Ravager (for raiding, as our 10-man group is usually missing the physical damage debuff)
Spirit beast (for the agil buff and self-heals)
Core hound (Heroism)

I'll usually have Loque out with me when I'm just running around, and will bring out a pet that covers a missing buff in a heroic.

I usually only run with 4, cause you can bet if I have 5, I'll find something I want to tame, that's way out of reach of a stable master.

Tribal - my kitty from Durotar back at level 10; he's never left my side, and has 'tanked' a fair few group quests when I was leveling and too stubborn to tame a 'proper' tanking pet.

Embers - Terrorpene; my now go-to tank for occasional clumsy Skadi runs, and Tank/Problim, while my gear is terrible. He's saved my ass more times than I can count

Ethereal - Gondria. She's usually my go-to PVP pet - and she was the first pet that got me into Spirit Beasts. Spirit Mend is pretty nice. If I'm not rolling with Ether, I'll have Kirix (just tamed him today, so he might be shown off for a while.)

Chromie - my dragonpuppy - usually kept around for Lust. Uncreative name I know, but I've never really had a chance to bond with her yet, beyond loving her skin, and dragging friends through BWL to get her xD

Usually I go with something like this (I don't PVP):

1 - Tenacity (hardcore solo'ing)

2 - Ferocity 1 (offense specced for dungeons)

3 - Ferocity 2 (this might be a non-exotic on my dual specced toons, or it might be a "solo'ing spec" that uses the defensive talents that are inappropriate for dungeon use, or maybe just something that strikes my fancy at the moment)

4 - Cunning (def specced for solo trash farming)

5 - Empty, in case I come across a rare or something I'd like to tame on the spot
