Is there a Support group for those hunters who may have an addiction to collecting Rares? A RHA group (Rare Hunters Anonymous)?

I've gotten to the point where I can't not stop taming every Spirit Beast I see. My Stable is already crowded with Spirit Beasts I never use yet, just now I finally grab Ban'tholos (after many Many deaths to the Tree boss and then several to Banthy himself) but as soon as I got him, I asked myself "Why did I go through all that trouble?"

Seriously, I think I may have a Problem. I can't help myself any more. Soon, I'm sure I'm going to start doing a "Catch and Release" cycle of Taming one only to tame it and then Abandon it right after....

I'm like that too but eventually I abandon what I dont use. Make another hunter alt and tame the ones you dont have on your main. :3

This is what I'm currently doing to help with my rare obsession. Until I can get a third hunter leveled just for rares, I'm re-taming everything on my Worgen that I do not want to keep on Mia.
Though I still have not released any of my spirit beasts. >_< Some of them carry fond memories so it's harder to let them go.

Seriously- I hear you. After I haven't tamed something for awhile I keep thinking about which pet I can part with so I can tame another one. I had let Arcturis and Gondria go to make room for some of the new Firelands rares, but then decided after accidentally coming across and then taming Ban'thalos, that I wanted to try to "Catch 'em all." I now have a full stable consisting of all of the spirit beasts, other pets that I'm fond of or have had forever, and a couple that I keep switching out. I rarely dungeon as BM so I'm trying to do that more now to make it more viable- having over half of my stables devoted to spirit beasts. King Krush and Nuramoc will never leave my stables... Chromaggus is my go-to Corehound for Ancient Hysteria. But I still can't help but ask, "Do I really need *this* pet?" I find that when I let one go and tame another, I eventually end up missing the other one. Rawr. I do have several hunter alts but there's something about running with your main with that new pet that you eventually click with or don't that is satisfying.

Admittedly, I have Solix, Deth'tilac, and Kirix. I do not need three spiders.. but they were hard "challenge" tames and fun memories with guildies-- so for now, I'm keeping all three. As for Karkin, I was camping for Skoll, saw Karkin spawn, and a Mage killed him before I could ask him to wait. I didn't really want Karkin, but it made me sad. The next day Karkin spawned again, and nobody else was around, so I tamed him. I'm still not overly fond of him, but I keep him because he was one of those "challenge" tames. Silly? Perhaps. But he's fun so I'll keep him for now.

If you aren't getting any joy out of it, then yes, you may want to re-think things.

I have a lot more rares than I ever used to have. But I blame Blizz for making them so desirable! I tame the rares that I personally love and feel I have to have... but it still leaves me with a decent sized list of rares. I like the feeling of taming something rare, but if I don't use it... it has to go, mostly because I feel bad for taming it and not using it. I did recently let go of some pets I was not using, including three rares. After that I tamed a few common skins, and I actually prefer my stables the way they are right now since they seem more varied than a bunch of spirit beasts. Don't get me wrong, I love my spirit beasts but I had too many. Just do whatever makes you happy.

it sucks to have so many nice pets, but be limited to only 25 of them. i've caught and released quite a few over the years. used to be worse with only 3, and then 5, and now 25, but still not enough, need more, lots more.

It'd be easier with

A] Less rares; make Ban not rare, but still the same laserwinged bird, or make all the cats non rare, or whatever, so that we don't feel the need to tame them all. Why is an ENTIRE family rare anyway...?
B] Give us maybe 1 new slot per 3 new rares. Still have to choose, but it's much less "stressful".

Seems like WoW has turned us hunters into animal hoarders. We want more and more and don't know when enough is enough!

Hi I'm Kurenio and I have a pet taming problem. I have 8 hunters, and I think I want more hunters.

I'm not even sure how many hunters I have. Of course, most of those are baby hunters that are dispersed like plankton across random servers.
