Tame stories first, of course.

I was on my way to the Molten Front dailies yesterday after work, and I see a yellow dot on my minimap. It can't be Stormvine as I was only tracking beasts. None other than Magria! I hadn't expected to see her in the wild let alone tame her, but before I knew what I was doing I found myself with a new pet.

Before I logged off for the night I cleaned up my stable. Got rid of a few pets I never bonded with or used.

Heading again to do some dailies about an hour ago and I see yet another dot on my minimap. This time it's Ankha. I sigh and swoop in for the tame.

Now I have two pets who need names. As the subject title states I'm looking for Ancient Egyptian names. All of my pets -- except one -- are named after AE deities. I have searched for names or words in the Egyptian language to continue my theme and have come up empty-handed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm, if you've already used all the Egyptian deities, maybe switch to Egyptian pharaohs?

Or place names? Like Luxor, Cairo, Rosetta. Or Giza, for the great sphinx.

I have a hunter with Egyptian-themed names, too. When she got the burning boar I was stuck for a name, until I hit on Kyphi.

GormanGhaste: There are still a few deities available for my stable. Using names of pharaohs definitely widens the list available, thanks!

You can look into the names of sons and princesses, who are less famous than the kings/queens, but still have some really lovely names.
