My stable is finally at a point that I'm completely satisfied with (for now, at least). Unfortunately I had to abandon most of these pets at some point before I realized how much I missed them, so now that they're back I know they're in the right place. :D

Image
First up is Ferus (Goreclaw). This was one of the first pets I fell for, back when I was still leveling in Dustwallow Marsh. He has been in and out of my stables, but I think he's finally here to stay.

Image
Next is Tempest (Arash'ethis). I had initially searched for Hayoc to no avail, so I flew over to Feralas and found Tempest dodging between rock elementals.

Image
This is Dawnbringer, a golden eagle I've had since the shattering. I think his coloration is just gorgeous.

Image
Verek is the blood hound from BRD that is still marked as a rare (even though he's always there). I've had a fascination with him since before he was tamable.

Image
This is Revelation, so named for the book of the bible that foretells the end of the world. I had no intention to search for Kirix when 4.2 went live, but after witnessing so many of his killing sprees, I became a bit obsessed with him. I died to his shenanigans a few times myself before I finally managed to finish a tame. When forced to choose between spiders, I picked Revelation over my Deth'tilac to keep. He's just that awesome.

Image
Insomnia is another surprise addition. When I found out these cats were tamable, I was pretty 'meh.' I tamed one in ZG a few weeks ago out of boredom and ended up loving him!

Image
I haven't had any luck clicking with a turtle, so I thought I'd give this guy a shot and he's perfect. I named him Khepri.

Image
Keane is another pet Linesk has had for a long time and even plays a crucial part in his origin story. I love this dragonhawk skin.

Image
Rayze has also been with me since the Shattering. Here we are playing in the tribute fountain.

Image
This is Depopulo (Ravage) and me chillin' with the leader of the Kirin Tor.

Image
Morior (Big Samras) was threatening the bear mount...

Image
Fesker was another surprise addition. I've had my eye on the skin from a distance, but while I was in Dustwallow Marsh today I thought I'd give Deadmire a shot. I think this will be another permanent pet. :]

Image
Sordeo (Vile Sting) is my favorite scorpid skin. He enjoys a nice swim every now and then.

Manawrought is my long-time nether ray, because what is a blood elf without a nether ray!?

Image
Antiquus is my oldest pet. Over the years I have let him go twice, only to have him restored days later. I've learned my lesson. Whenever a big raid boss needs to drop, Antiquus is always the one I run with. I know he's only a cluster of polygons, but I have a lot of good memories with this wolf.

Image
Pierce and I were breaking it down in the courtyard.

Image
Painsmith (Krkk'kx) was actually difficult to tame, since he kept evading. When I found him, a tauren was beating on him, but it was a nice guy who stepped back and let me tame. I almost drowned before I finally got a successful tame off. This annoying bugger mainly runs with me in BGs.

Image
Yami is another resident oldie. I hated ravagers from the get-go, but picked him up just for his ability. He actually really grew on me over time, and now I wouldn't dream of releasing him.

Image
Synchro is rad. I didn't think I'd like the purple vipers, but after passing Venomtip and stopping to stare one too many times, I finally caved in. I don't regret it. ;]

Image
I bet you guys couldn't tell I liked Vultros, eh? I imagine him as this badass menace that goes around terrorizing the pumpkin farmers in Westfall. He's never far from my side.

Image
I tamed Dualis simply because he is quiet, and ended up loving the model more than I anticipated.

Image
Hyperion was a glitched mob that was flying tight, REALLY fast circles around a single tree in Outland. I tamed him because he looked so hilarious, and ended up falling for the unique gold coloring. He's another one that helps me out a lot in BGs. Here he is toasting me.

Image
I tamed Khons once without a hitch, didn't pull him out of the stable too often, then let him go. The next day a hunter friend whispers me telling me Ankha is up. I ask around for anyone else who might have been interested... nothing. Taking it as a sign, I went and tamed him again, and this time he's here to stay.

Image
I camped a ridiculous amount of time for Lanterna when I first hit 85. I really couldn't tell you why I was so obsessed with her, but once I finally got her I haven't let her out of my sight.

Image
Dionysius is special. I had a long-running campaign on my server back in Wrath offering 1k gold to anyone who found King Krush and tipped me off. He was killed out from under me five times over the course of a year. I had given up for a few months (I was really getting too stressed over a pixelated dinosaur), but on the night I got Kingslayer, I was so amped that I thought 'the only thing that could make this night better is if I finally got Krush.' Not really expecting anything, I flew my happy ass to Sholazar Basin and sure enough, he was up. I was frantic as I waited for a priest guildie to get there and throw a fear ward on me, but no one bothered him in that amount of time (thankfully). I was so ecstatic. Even today I'll occasionally get a whisper from someone: "You finally got him!"

Very cute screenies Pengu. Love the way these pets look with your hunter, especially Tempest. :D And of course, you and Vultros are awesome as well.

Awww, what a great selection for your stables! As for Kru--er, Dionysius, all I can say is, "Hail to the KING, baby!" XD
