Well, joys aside from actually getting Deth, which would be pretty sweet...

Earlier today I decided to go check and see if Deth was up, and she was! ...But another hunter was there first. He hadn't tagged her yet, but fair is fair, so I offered to help him tame her (after he turned down my offers of gold to have her haha). Several minutes later, he had a shiny new friend! Yay for him

So after checking in constantly over the next few hours (just in case), I decided to sit down and camp the rest of the night. I've been here since the 4 hour mark, and it's been about 7 and a half now. My friend joined me a bit over an hour ago to suicide repeatedly if she pops, and all the while people have been setting off NPCScan with Skarr, Anthriss, and others. So when NPCScan alerted me about Solix, I didn't get excited till I clicked to target... and it was the real mob this time!

I've been checking for him pretty frequently (never camping), so I was pretty stoked. Told my friend to wait at Deth's area while I went and tried. The first try went well at first, but I died at 56 energy. The second try I accidentally pulled him and instead of just feigning I tried to do it anyway... bad idea. My friend came down and crippled Solix with me as now I was getting worried he'd be killed or ninjaed, and that made for the easiest tame ever.

I'm still hanging around for Deth for as long as I can (I have a full pot of coffee and at least 6 hours before I pass out!), but even if I don't get her tonight, I'm still pretty excited! Wish me luck ^_^

I took all the Molten Front rare off of npscan.

It's a small enough area that you can literally stand at the entrance and eagle eye to every spawn point. (best results with Tracking Beasts)

I took all the ones I have off NPCScan. In general they stay cached and I don't care (because of eagle eye like you said) but I cleared it for my camp so that I could alt-tab while waiting for Deth and hear the alert

After I get Deth, I'm keeping them all cached. npcscan haunts me in my dreams. quest items using that sound give me heart attacks, even when I know they're coming

I have 5 challenge tames down and only one more to go that I really care about haha

I turned the sound off.
It was giving me heart attacks.

Coming up on the 11th hour mark in about 20 minutes. I'm hoping it'll be the one!

I'm staying up until server restart if I have to.

The 12 hour mark has come and gone and still no Deth. I was nervous she'd spawn on the 11th hour, which was when three alliance were ganking me repeatedly, but fortunately she did not. 4 hours to go until server restarts begin...

So I went to take a smoke break while my friend was with at the spawn point since I didn't think she'd show up for another 35 min or so. I came back 5 min later, and she was up!! I freaked out on vent and my friend and i pulled her, then I skirted around to her backside and we stayed on opposite sides trading aggro back and forth so the one without aggro could rez pet more easily. Got her to 19% and I started taming, then I was worried she'd reach me before it finished so I got more distance on her while my friend took aggro back, then he feigned, I hit tame again and she was mine!! So happy!! Now I have all the molten front rares that I REALLY wanted Still would like Skarr and Ankha, but I will not ever camp again haha.

It was almost exactly a 14.5 hour wait, btw

It was a good night for Deth's all around! I got mine tonight too! CONGRATS to you, he looks amazing with you!

Thank you! And YAY, congrats on your Deth as well!! After soloing some BC dungeons with her, I've already grown really attached to mine! She just is so beautiful and very soothing to look at, imo.

I woke up today after a small amount of sleep and was convinced Skarr would be up, so I headed out there, jumped up the rocks and there he was I read on here about someone (Teigan I believe) rehoming a Skarr that was named Pompeii - kind of considering that name for mine. Still no idea about Deth or Solix though!
