Sad Sad morning

Well after working on my first hunter and managing to hit 73 rather quickly (for me) I'm greatly looking forward to taming my first spirit beast. Just minutes ago I log in to look for Arcturis knowing I'm moments away from leveling 74.
To my pleasant surprise this is what I find:
I run back to where I was questing to grind out the last bit of XP. Super excited, super ambitious I return only minutes later and he's gone T_T
I don't want to level anymore, I'm quite saddened by this.

aww.! i know the Feeling!!!. When i was lvl 78 and was in Stormpeaks, i met Skoll.! 3 times before i hit 80! when i hit 80, i went back and hes gone. Gone for whole 4 days! 4 Days for me to find him again Sick sick World xD xD But got him and was all happy!

*hugs* it's okay, at least you didn't find him dead. He has a home, and his baby cub will wander out and find you and it'll be love at first sight <3

This sort of thing happened to me once and it was terrible
After that, I never again entered a zone without making sure I was the same level as or higher than the rares in the zone that I might want to tame. I hope you find Arcturis again soon! Don't give up

Same thing happened to me with Karoma. I had *just* turned level 84 and flew right over him.
Keep your chin up, he'll be there again, and next time, he'll be in your loving care forever!

This is the whole reason why I am going to be -very- careful to avoid these areas while leveling my lowbie hunter. >.< Heh. Least till shes the correct level for the pet in the area. =P

Thanks for the kind words. I was disheartened because it's rare you walk up to find a rare hanging out all by its lonesome. Oh wells. I shall continue looking! Skoll and King Krush are in my list of must haves anyhow

This was me and Gondira T___T One bar...ONE GOD DAMN BAR. I go off to turn in the quests, I find gondira dead...eh..I found her again though.

W00t!!! After camping King Krush for 4 hours, I decided to give up and continue questing in Grizzly Hills. I was flying to the next quest not even thinking about him when NPCscan alerts went off!
Now to come up with a brilliant spiritmanbeargodlike name for him!
