Yes, its been a year since I have pet your fur, snuggled with you at night, and teased you with fake mice. Its been a year since you had to go, and I still can't believe you're gone, because it still feels like it was just yesterday that I saw my little white kitty.

I miss my little Rachel.

Awe! I still miss my Auron and it's been 2-3 years since his passing. People like us never forget and never stop loving our precious babies!

I am so in love with Rachel's mark on her nose! It looks like a perfectly centered little heart ... too cute!

Hehe, it was like her beauty mark or identification mark. Cause people who were not familiar with her or her sister Sasha (our other white kitty, from the same liter as Rachel) they would tell them apart based on Rachel's little "dot". Although, I could tell them apart just by looking at the back of their head (They just look super different to me)

Heh, at one point my grandmother owned 4 all black cats. All with short fur. No one could tell them apart, but I could tell you which one was which from across the lawn. =P

I know how you feel. It's been 22 years since my beloved Charlie was put to sleep because of complications in his liver. Charlie was a beautiful ocealot longhair cat. Acted more like a dog sometimes, but was always up for cuddling. To this day I still miss him. And I had him for just a little over 10 years. You never forget that special pet that always touched your heart.

I sometimes cry about my long gone hamsters. They were my first pets ever, and I loved them so.

She was a gorgeous kitty.
I know Im going to fall apart when my baby Rayne goes. I still sometimes cry because I miss my baby Fea who passed away a few years ago and we don't know why.

I usually try to avoid bringing religion into things. But sometimes, whatever deity you pray to, calls their creations back to them. Not because they've done wrong. But sometimes, it's just time. They were put on this earth for a reason. And when they have fulfilled that quest, they are called home. Never forgotten, but always loved.

There's an old Irish philosophy about death. We never mourn a person's (or in this case pet's) passing. But we celebrate their lives and the good or funny things they did. We toast to their good fortune and sing songs to make sure the winds are always at their backs.
