OCD is an ugly disease

I have been reading Petopia since vanilla WoW and this is my first posting on the forums. Also, I'm not truly OCD but do have a touch. :)

With that said I have created my own achievement thanks to reading the Pet Challenge thread here. I came up with the following silliness: using Petopia as a guide I am attempting to tame every rare listed, 128 of them. I catch, screenshot with the Silver Dragon plate up, and release. Exceptions are pets that I tamed before I came up with this and are still highly sought after, e.g., the Spirit Beasts. In these cases I return to the scene of the crime, errr, tame, and screenshot then PhotoShop in their original name.

I am currently at 118. I have all Spirit Beasts and all but 1 challenge tame.

I am lacking: Skitterflame, Madexx X 5, Goretooth, the Sewer Beast, Rokad the Ravager, and Old Vicejaw who seems to be out of the game though I haven't read any official confirmation.

Anyone else this nuts?

I took two fairly solid weeks to see every color of Madexx. That was enough nuts for me. But good luck!

It took me nearly a month to get all 5 colors but thats only cause I had 4 others camping with me.

The Sewer Beast is still in existence :)

Funny that you are doing this as well ^^
I haven't made any forum effort to put the screenshots up yet, but you are way ahead of me when it comes to how many! Can't want to see these images and good luck finding them all :D

Edit:
....and Old Vicejaw who seems to be out of the game though I haven't read any official confirmation.
Just reread that and noticed you only meant Old Vicejaw, not the Sewer Beast ^_^;
Either way, good luck!

I have OCD too, except it doesn't manifest in the form of collecting pets, but leveling a certain character class. Over. And over. Because its fun, and I always feel I can do better the fourth time, fifth time, whatever. -.-

I do have a bit of a Madexx-fetish. I have red, bronze, blue, and green. Black is the only one I can't make myself tame. I can't bear to part with the others. 7ish months of stressful, painstaking camping to finally complete my Madexx collection with blue.

There are just too many pets that I want to keep, so I have 2 new hunters I have been leveling with different pet agendas on each. One is unique skins I didn't have room for on my other hunter, and the other is "pets I have never tamed before". I really do need pet tamers anonymous.

I'm in the same boat Ahnalia. XP I have a wee hunter coming up who is taming commons/skins I want to try. But she's also my inscription alt so it's handy. I think I'll make a Tauren hunter once I can shuffle some stuff hordeside for her.

I have now added Goretooth and Madexx blue to the list. Since Madexx is much prettier than I thought I had to say goodbye to the Strider Clutchmother but she's going back to her home in Darkshore for another hunter.

Total is now 120 rares tamed.
