I recently went through my stables on Jessibelle and now have 5 vacant slots. (got rid of Blue madexx cause I have lisaara...black madexx cause I like Dante in the wild better and I already have red madexx, black worm cause I missed my yellow one)

I'm now out in Silithis looking for Grubthor again cause....well even if his burrow animation bugs me cause theres a lack of any animation, I still miss him. Had great memories with him and was really attached to him.

But I cant figure out what to do with the other slots. :(

I've been looking at Amani Dragonhawks with severe vibes of -want- for the last while. Why not try to go get one of those? They're so neat, being all yellowy.

I did something kind of like this today, I dropped Ghostcrawler, Jadefang, and one of the 4 cats that I had :P That left me 3 slots to work with so I went on Petopia and first decided what general pet family I wanted. I picked out Worm, Snake, Carrion Bird as I haven't had any of those in a long time. I then went and picked out the colors that I liked and tamed them, playing with them for a while. Maybe you could do something similar? I don't know how you stand on having more than 1 of each pet type (like 2 cats for example) or having a bulk of tenacity pets like I do. But just pick through pets that you think look cool or pretty and tame them, give them a test run in a dungeon, or take them out to do dailies to get a feel for them. Often PetEmote will give you a nice emote about their personality :) Hope you figure out what to do soon!

I might get mine restored(Trying to tame one of those now would be a pain in the butt....). I could get Grimm(yellow) restored but I'm trying to see if I can re-tame him myself since he's not so hard.

And yeah I might do that unless we're getting new pets in 4.3.

Taming a yellow dragonhawk isn't hard now, really, as long as you get a group that KNOWS you want to tame it and will let you (if you pug, don't bet on it, but just asking in guild to do ZA up until the dragonhawks shouldn't be too hard). I prefer the blue dragonhawk or the pink one, though I had to let them go in favor of Magria and Ankha. I might let Ghostcrawler or Solix (he's up ALL THE TIME) go in order to re-tame my blue dragonhawk. I really miss my Renly.

My luck in pugs.....people are utter morons. TT-TT and my guild....well....sadly in AHFEM there's only 2 85s....myself and my friend Nick. Nick doesn't play anymore either so I'm just gonna hope Blizz gets him back for me.

My guild raids SOMETIMES, but its mostly a pvp guild. However, I'm lucky in that they do ZG/ZA every day. I avoid pvp like the plague (and will until they fix AV and make it epic like it was in vanilla. 12 hour AVs ftw?) but do the ZA/ZG runs most of the time. Pugs are just...dreadful in those 2 instances. ZA is easier than goddamn Heroic whatever the lowest Cata heroic is. ZA is seriously the easiest Cata heroic imo, and pugs somehow fuck it up EVERY TIME. I do not know how. At all.

You know, I'm okay with my stable for Aritria, and I'm okay if I have an extra 5 or 6 slots for things that I might want in the future. I don't have to fill them ALL up now, a little at a time, and everything's all good.

Oh I agree. ZA is stupidly simple but....pugs make me headdesk. I dont even bother grinding heroics anymore.

On a brighter note! A GM kindly brought Gaia(dragonhawk) and Grimm(worm) back home to me!

And yeah Ari...you dont HAVE to fill it up. :3

Maybe you could wait and see if there is a surprise in store for us next patch?

I see you already have a worg style wolf, but you might want to check out Barnabus.

He shares a common skin, but his red coat is really quite striking and would look nice next to Jessi's reddish fur.

The red wolf was why I leveled a hunter in vanilla to begin with. I LOVE his coloring, I just found pets I liked better as new expansions came out, so he had to hit the road to freedom. I just saw a red wolf in Burning Steppes, I believe, while leveling my a certain toon (guess what class...) and after he hit 60, I rolled a hunter intent on taming that red wolf. And I did once I was high enough. That red wolf was the motivator for me to level a class that wasn't a mage. Got me out of leveling only mages.
