EDIT: wait.... hold on a second we are living in a time line that was effected by rhonin, krasus, and brox.... so what happened before that. If in their time line they had to go back to save us. Does that mean in their time line sargeras set foot on azeroth? Are we the infinite dragonflight now? I am so confused.... I thought I knew everything that happened during the war of the ancients but I guess i was wrong.

Ah...Probably an alternate timeline. Dragons are all about that, especially bronze. And it's always hinted there's tons of possibilities, the dragons just sent the adventurers to one where Rhonin, Krasus, Brox and the like weren't messing around.

Before Rhonin, Krasus and Brox appeared, the original timeline was the one you saw in WC3. They have since changed it into the one we see in WoW (with, for example, less xenophobic Night Elves, because of Brox and stuff). Tyrande's character have also changed because of that, but still the world at large was not changed - it was the Old Gods who tried to change it, and they stopped it.
