Yeah, I have to say I'm disappointed legendaries can't be used just as greens, blues and purples can be. To me if you did the work (or had the good luck) to get a legendary then you should be allowed to use it.

Can a guild items like the Shroud of Cooperation or Wrap of Unity be used? And would they have the guild symbol on them?

Unless they had this lovely item underneath No Shirt
I know it doesn't really exists, but it would be funny if it did.

Re: Transmogrification rules
Okay, newb question ... I just want to clarify something, and I haven't found a solid 100% answer yet.
I carefully read those rules posted, and while I understand they can change at any time, I still want to ask...
Do you have to OWN (i.e. physically have in your bags) the item you want to use the model from?
Example: I want my helm to look like the Dreadmist Mask. Does that character have to own the Dreadmist Mask (or heirloom) to get that look?
I'm hoping not... But I completely understand if that's a rule. Just, some of that raid gear is so hard to get nowadays. >_<

Re: Transmogrification rules
Yes, you must own the item. We're not sure yet if something can be transmogrified from the new Void Storage system yet, but it definitely stands that your character must have both items on that specific character.

Excellent, thank you very much Veph! I read those rules listed and I got my hopes up again, so I wanted to make sure. :3Vephriel wrote:Yes, you must own the item. Just an fyi, currently you can use the invisible chest piece XD I did it with my druid.
But, on a more serious note, I seen a male night elf with it and a total demon hunter get up. I drooled.

Yeah, you can't use it for transmogrification, it's one of the 'silly' items that isn't allowed.

There goes my plans for using my cloth-and-leather RP "city casual" outfit to transmog my usual Hunter mail...•Items must share the same armor type (examples: plate for plate, cloth for cloth)

Re: Transmogrification rules
While I'm so glad they added transmogrification into this game during patch 4.3--I LOVED some of the older hunter/mail gear from BC and WotLK, I'm SO bummed about the fact that you couldn't transmog whatever weapon you could--I LOVED my Quel'Delar sword for my hunter, and my Lightborn Spire for my druid, so I must now leave them forever in storage... >_<

Re: Transmogrification rules
I heard a rumour that legendaries *may* be xmogable in 5.2, anyone else heard this? I've started farming the Sunwell just in case anyway (plus id like to own the bow either way) but how good would that be!
