Mount's [NPC's] I'm looking for
Time Lost Proto-Drake: [ ]
Aeonaxx: [ ]
Poseidus: [ ]
Skoll: [3] (Got him for my friend, tamed him again for myself . seen flying over)
Vyragosa: [2]
This won't be updated everyday but every so often. The mount I'm looking for the most is the TLPD, I don't know why but I prefer it to the drake that drops from Aeonaxx. He's so gold and shiny and looks amazing. I even have him as my background on the pc as a kind of luck charm.
Day One:
TLPD: Been in the Storm Peaks a lot today but without any luck. I've chosen my camping spot above the waterfall on a really steep slope using eagle eye to look at the other, nearer spawn points. My server doesn't really have people that camp for this mount. I've never seen any but have a few friends who gave up looking, I think I'm more determined. My obsession with the TLPD started when I was on my druid in stormwind and someone on the mount decided to land right on top of me, I followed them for a while until they flew off gazing in awe
.
Started camping towards the evening and flew round a few times. It's weird I always feel the TLPD is in the storm peaks even though there's been no sign. My boyfriend downloaded NPCscan and is helping me look now - my computer refuses to download it.
Aeonaxx: Given up looking for Aeonaxx recently due to the Phospegfsggent (however you spell it) Stone Drake explosion on my server. Seriously, they're everywhere. And that's just the Alliance, since the Horde outnumber us 10-1. Everytime I go to Deepholm theres usually about 7 people camping in various spawn points - one tauren druid even said 'NO' to me as I flew past. I've even seen someone ON the drake camping for Aeonaxx. I took the hint and gave up and decided just to work on Tol Barad dailies which , if you haven't done them, are a pain in the a**.
Poseidus: Found out another of his spawn points (Abyssal depths). Wish I had before, I could of missed him so many times. I've taken to flying above the surface of Vashj'ir instead of swimming now. I don't know if it's quicker but it feels like it. Poseidus was the first rare spawn I started looking for, checking every so often and not really camping. I don't even know if I'm going to sell the mount or keep it anyway. Theres one for sale in the AH (been there since I joined WoW 5 months back) for 150k. Where do people get this much gold?!?!
Overall, I think finding them is going to be very difficult as I'm only searching on my main. An 85 Night Elf hunter called Adalmoon. She's the only 85 I have apart from a 60 Worgen hunter and a 20 Worgen druid. I'm still not giving up though. I keep imagining seeing the TLPD appear in the skies of the storm peaks and it keeps me going, visiting the TLPD called Glory in the next zone helps too. I guess I've got ages to go yet but it'll sure be worth it!
Recent Activity:
TLPD: A few days ago I had yet another WoW dream. o_O of me flying after Vyragosa but not being able to catch her up. How weird. I woke up just as i reached her.
Logged on yesterday morning to find Vyragosa dead above the village on the side of the mountain. I was awe-struck by how big she is and was killed by another Night Elf hunter, although only level 78. Yet another TLPD camper? Challenge accepted. Logged on after school and did a few dungeons to see her spawn again RIGHT infront of me coming from the waterfall. I attacked first and died of falling, then flew back and killed her earning myself the Northern Exposure acheivement. All these Vyra's have led to nothing. Server update. No TLPD.
Later today my guild was celebrating the last day of Brewfest and I decided to do one final Coren Direbrew. Did the dungeon..no keg. I finally noticed I had an inbox and flew to Dalaran to receive a letter saying that ' my belongings have been retrieved from the twisting nether' . It was the keg.
I opened it .. to reveal none other than a Great Brewfest Kodo! On the last day.
