Well, I have all the rare hunter pets that I want, and 140+ minipets on my druid and hunter, but..I've never ever tried mount collecting. I think I'll have a go at it. Below are rough estimates of how many runs I've done so far, some are perfectly accurate and some may be a few numbers off.

Dungeon mounts:
Ashes of Al'ar: 0/4
Deathcharger's reins: 0/17
Fiery Warhorse's reins1/2
Reins of the Blue Drake: Got it from my first bag in oculus some time ago, I'm not sure if it still drops from the oculus bags o:
Reins of the Blue Proto-drake: 1/33 SQUEE!
Reins of the Raven Lord: 1/6
Reins of the Swift White Hawkstrider 1/7
Reins of the Drake of the North Winds: 0/28
Swift brewfest ram: 1/6
Red/yellow/blue/green bug mounts from AQ have all been obtained.

Rep/misc:
Sea turtle: 0/493 casts
Green Proto-drake: 1/1 egg (Super yay!)
Nether Rays: complete
Netherdrakes: complete
Cenarian Hippogryph:complete
Ramkahen camels: complete
Wyrmrest accord drake: complete
Black war bear: complete
Red proto drake: complete
Rusted proto drake: complete
Violet proto drake: incomplete
Fossilized raptor: complete
Reins of the white polar bear: 1/14
Tol Barad Mounts: 1/2

PvP mounts: 6/7 (Black war mounts + frostwolf howler + mammoth.)

This is a really long list but..as I've never ever tried to mount collect before, I barely have any special mounts. anything I get feels like an accomplishment. I'm mainly doing this to keep track of what I get/do, but I figured someone might be interested to see it aswell

um fix the Azure drakes name to blue drake Azure is the armored one from EoE

So, I came across Aeonaxx tonight, the mount I would literally pay 50k+ for if it was buyable..I love that mount, so much, and I have literally had dreams about finding it in Deepholm. (Pathetic, right?)

Yeah, some level 83 warrior was randomly passing by, and snagged it out from under me and another camper who had been there for 24 hours with no sleep. This warrior didn't even have epic flying to learn it. :I

Ugh I only step in deepholm for quests now. Some other priest with 14k achievement points and all the rare mounts, with the exception of the PSD... I'll let him have it and try again later. He's on my faction and just sits there ignoring my pleas of him moving to the other spot instead of on top of me.. sigh.

I'm sorry you had to see aeonaxx snagged from you. That really sucks!

I was so, so happy when i saw npc scan pop up, you have no idea..I nearly screamed and my hands started shaking, then..I really felt like crying when I saw him mount it.

I know how you feel. I went on vacation for 4 days a couple weeks ago.. During that time, a level 78 got Time Lost, then leveled to 82 so he could anti afk his way to Aeonaxx... and Aeonaxx spawned only a few short hours later. I'm still not over it. If I'd been online, Aeonaxx would have been mine.. =(

Red drake from Wyrmrest Accord is simple now, you can get exhalted with them with roughly 1000 Justice Points (from Dal vendor for rep badges)

Have you gotten the Bronze Drake from Heroic COT Strat? He's simple to whip through at 85 esp with a couple friends.

Netherdrake rep is one of the more funner reps to grind (for me at least). Once you find out where the eggs spawn (have gatherer addon for it tracks those locations) it makes it go much quicker. Plus if you're guild is high enough (for the guild perk) you'll be instantly friendly once you do the pre-req to unlock them.

Oh thanks for the tip on the WrA drake, I never thought of that I got the bronze drake, and I'm absolutely dreading netherwing rep. >.<

Netherwing took me about 4-5 days just doing the daily quests / finding eggs. Its really not that hard once you get the hang of it, and make sure to check the Mine for eggs. Usually in the mines is where I get my biggest haul for the eggs

(oh eggs give 275 rep a turn in (with guild perk) and are randomly scattered on the island and on that base right across.)

Oh, 4-5 days isn't as bad as I thought it would be, I was expecting weeks of dailies ><

And I got my albino drake. c: /feels slightly accomplished

It used to take sooo much longer because of all the competition you couldn't really get eggs to speed up the process and had to rely on dailies only. Its much less of a hassle now-a-days! (Yay!) Good luck on the eggs.

I am at honored with netherwing right now on my druid and my hunter....I should probably get back to grinding rep...
*throws rock at warrior* BAD WARRIOR. BAD. *gives moar good luck* (I am in a random mood right this minute....)

Woo! I just got the white hawkstrider No polar bear or proto, but I did grind exalted with Tauren and Forsaken so I got a buncha new mounts today :3

Turns out my bronze drake is on my druid and priest, not Zui :<

Also just grinded up Thunder bluff, silvermoon, undercity and mag'har rep to exalted ^_^ Up to 81 mounts.
