Surprise spirit cat

Well, this was unexpected.
I should be asleep -- it's almost 6am here -- but despite the fact that I'm bone tired I couldn't fall asleep. So I got up, figuring I'd putter around in WoW for a bit then go back to bed.
I decided to log in my main, a feral tank druid, and sort her situational trinkets, like I'd been saying I should do for ages. First stop, Tol Barad to buy the Mirror of Broken Images for resist fights... second stop, Molten Front, to buy a Moonwell Phial to replace my Vial of Stolen Memories.
So I take the Hyjal portal and head down to the Molten Front portal... and see a ghostly white cat running around. Ankha. Well, damn.
Across two hunters, I have all the new rares -- some of them (Skitterflame, Ban'thalos, Deth'tilac) twice, even... all except Ankha. I never saw her, and I decided I wasn't going to camp her, because I was fine with what I had and after several really stressful camps I could use the relaxation.
Should I? Shouldn't I?
As I hover over Ankha, following her and debating, people start trying to kill her. Without much success, granted, because of the way she works... but as more and more people gather, I get more and more twitchy. I don't want her to die.
And the only way to guarantee that is to drag one of my hunters to Hyjal and tame her myself.
Can't be on my draenei hunter, everything she has I'm entirely too attached to -- has to be the goblin hunter. I launch a second copy of the game and log her in (yay for two accounts) and run to a stable master. Which pet to drop, though? I start frantically paging through my stables, trying to figure out what to do -- it doesn't help that the stable pet display has bugged out and I can't see which pet is which, and running two copies of the game is lagging me to hell and back.
Then I remember Grace, my Albino Eyegouger. I ran Deadmines so many times trying to get either her or the Brilliant Macaw or both... got her, gave up on the Brilliant Macaw and moved on, but she never really clicked, and I only really kept her around because of the rarity.
So I drag Grace out of the stables, lag my way through Dalaran to the Orgrimmar portal, lag my way through Orgrimmar to the Hyjal portal, and fly down to where Ankha is.
Land near her to see her one-shot a paladin -- strip -- abandon the parrot -- press tame -- and a few seconds later, she stops trying to munch my face off and settles by my side.
She's still Grace. Just... not feathery anymore.
Now I'm really done, I swear.
