...what do you think would be some new pets that could make an appearance? Personally, i would love if they added in a Japanese crane. A Raccoon dog would make an interesting pet but i could see them more as a minipet than a hunter pet.

Actually, on the Chinese servers, they got Jade/Onyx/Purple Gem cat companions. I would love to see the Jade Gem Cat companion added in game. I would very much buy one, or even farm =)

Lots of possibilities - 9 tailed fox and/or lion dog would make cool SBs, maybe an oriental stylized tiger or leopard just google Lafcadio Hearn for a whole bunch

well we already have something KINDA like a lion dog. It's those demon dogs.

It would have to be chinese themed seeing as pandas are from china lol

I don't think they'll be that strict about it - switching the race itself to full Chinese (e.g. removing the samurai garb and such) was all that was needed to satisfy Chinese national pride; I wouldn't be surprised if the monsters are drawn from a variety of Asian influences.

Thylacine also know as the Tasmanian Tiger, it is extinct IRL but it doesnt have to be in WoW.... also make those Pterrordax tamable.

Sorta kinda... to me they feel more ... kabuki-ish / Japanese but yeah similar in a very general way. What I had in mind would be bulkier and more stylized.

I want a dog that looks like a Shiba-Inu. They're SO adorable and can be quite ferocious if pissed off. Cute yet deadly. A perfect pet, and they're of japanese descent, keeping with the asianish theme. Seriously, is this not so adorable? And yet its capable of ripping your face off.



If they added a pet that looked like that, I would never use another pet again.

Far too cute to be a combat pet (not saying they can't be dangerous irl, just that wow combat pets normally look menacing even in idle mode), but would make an awesome minipet - I'd take that over the butt-scooting pug any day.

Shiba Inuuuuuuuuuuuus! Thats the planned dog my bf and i want if we ever own a house with a backyard, otherwise we're gonna get a corgi. I love Shiba Inu's to death and bf had a great time playing with one that someone was walking who decided to say hi to us. No matter the challenge i would try my very best to get one of blizz put it in-game and it looked awesome enough for whatever work you had to do for it <333

It will be intresting to see how this whole thing pans out cause there is a very very small chance that the Pandaran class or any mob/pet that represents a panda in the game as a attackable character cause of Chinese law, as it stands regarding pandas, they cannot be depicted or shown being injured, killed, mutilated, or otherwise harmed in any media. Blizzard makes alot of money off china so i doubt they will risk it by putting a pandaren class/mob or Panda pet in the game
