I'd say that her model for Well of Eternity. I'd be hoping that she hasn't been wearing the same outfit for some ten thousand years afterall,

You and me both, my main is a night elf and Azshara and Tyrande's clothes and character designs make me wishing I looked like them, they're simply stunning.. Azshara really is as beautiful as it was said she was.

Tyrande looks amazing, but... When did she dye her hair?? D:

Yeah Tyrande's outfit is just plain busy if you ask me.

I like that they show her claws. I've always described my n'elfs as having noticeable claws; it's probably something they filed down/off if they want to seem 'civilized' but most of them don't bother since it'd be a sign of closeness to nature.

And I don't think it's -just- for the instance. Most of the other faction leaders have gotten specialized models; Tyrande was just lagging behind, and I'm glad to see they FINALLY gave her a new one.

Now if they'd just make all n'elfs use that (and Illidan's) body models because I would really like my poor warrior to develop a butt. He needs a butt.

It's just a model for when she's younger. She doesn't look like that now.

I wish they'd let night elfs have her hairstyle though.

Im surprised at her new model... in lore she doesnt see herself fit to be a leader of anything at all and she dresses in the most simple clothes in preference to reflect her views on herself and so she would be seen as a friend, guardian, and leader to the sisters of elune and later on of night elves entirely. She never expected to rise to the power she now posesses today in her social life and i dont think she has accepted the idea that its ok to dress a bit more extravagantly. I would see this model as being Vashj appropriate. Vashj, being a highborne and one of Azshara's handmaidens would be dressed this extravagant, but of course still be outshined by the radiance Azshara emanates naturally through her extraordinary arcane power. Azshara fits well in those simple, seductive robes but she has the wrong hair color and its too short. Shes depicted in lore as having naturally pure silver hair that was very fine and very long, like, the model has long hair, but theres too little of it, it tapers off too suddenly, it would most likley go further down, to her waist and wouldnt taper quite that much imo. Vashj was one of the weirdos who loved someone so much she dyed her hair constantly from whatever color it was to silver to try and raise herself higher in Azshara's eyes.

Thing with the worgen is they were incomplete and their lore was a major "WTF?" so they fixed it to make more sense.

Still that's worse than not makeing someones hair 100% lore accurate.

Azshara is one of the most important figures in Warcraft and im sure im not alone in the player population who is complaining to themselves about her model, specially since im an artistic perfectionist >_> If it wasnt for Azshara, the War of the Ancients wouldnt of even happened, they could of at least followed their own lore and the lore they gave to Richard when he wrote the book

It's a little more than just the hair.

Basically it's always been this...Azshara is supposed to be the jazzed up night elf princessy one. Tyrande never dressed like that. she was very simplistic.

Blizz hardly ever fully follows their own lore this is not the first time they have done this. I just see this the same as the worgen lore personally I prefer the old lore to the new one.
