im depressed... the new cloaks are depressingly awful looking in their shape.. i would love to wear that cloak for all to see but unfortunately as of 4.2 i now hide my cloaks ._.

Doesn't the bow have Expertise on it?

I love the looks so far!

oh god why the hell are they still giving us staves. i want top level axes back. staves are for casters.

I like staves, but there is something quite lovely about a nice 2H axe, yes?

The reason their won't normally be 2h axes or swords is due to us having to share melee weapons with feral druids. So we get staffs and polearms

This will be one of the few moments where I'll say, to heck with that bow, gimmie that castor staff. ;.; lol

Although.....what the hell, Blizz? There's a HEALING AXE that Tyrande drops. That just doesn't sound right. T_T (Besides, I couldn't use it, qq.)

Well for one...we dont exactly use them. XD Only weapon we USE is a ranged one.

I would...cause I dont get to use it. I wanna see it in action, not sit like a decoration.

i find myself in melee situations plenty enough, i want axes!

That 'boring' axe from heroic Deadmines is actually my favorite melee weapon to date - I'll be replacing it with the honor polearm soon, sadly, but it was hugely refreshing to get rid of my damned staff for once.

I distantly remember leveling with two one-handed swords, back in the day. I wish they'd bring that back, but the stats on a staff/polearm are simply going to be superior no matter what, so giving us dual wield was kind of pointless.

I'd like a viable one handed end game enchant that makes it so we can dual wield OR use a two hander. I like having options.

Also Nub, at current end game, the only reason dual wielding isn't viable is because we don't have an enchant that's nearly as good as the 130 agi to 2H enchant. If we had that then you could find two comparable 1H's that about equal a 2H. It's the same reason that for most casters at end game right now a 1H+OH is better than a staff (excluding the legendary) because you can have both Power Torrent and the 40 int OH enchant.

I understand not giving us 2-h axes and such, but I really, really miss Polearms. I never see them anymore and it makes me a very, very sad person.

Witch-Hunter's Harvester is pure win.

As well as the BoE Ransuer of Hatred, and the PvP polearm. Theres lots! There was also a crafted one that looks like a scythe too.

Yeah, between the Ranseur and the Harvester, this has been a good raid tier for polearms if you have some cash to burn. 4.1 and 4.2 were all staves, though.

And really, I'm OK with carrying a staff. But I at least want one with a model that looks like I could hit somebody with it without bits falling off. Is that so wrong?
