[bug] Stuck in combat post tame?

I went on a taming spree to bulk up my new hunter's stables on the PTR, and I've noticed a mildly annoying bug: directly after the tame, it appears that I get stuck in combat for a few minutes, after which it flickers in and out every few seconds. The pets I've tamed were not chasing critters, and while one has an AoE that could pull something I didn't see him cast it - and more importantly, nothing was attacking us at all. The only thing I can think of is that I pulled them with tame beast into a trap instead of trapping first, and that might have locked them into combat...or some invisible mob causing trouble.
For now, the effect goes away if I dismiss the pet, but it returns whenever I call them back. Not a giant issue for now, but irritating nonetheless.
The pets in question so far are a Winterspring frostsaber(white with black stripes) and Emberwing, although I don't think it's a mob-specific issue. Is this happening for anyone else?
