Level 69 - plus incredible luck, I can't believe it ;-;

I've been ill the past few days so have been presented with the perfect opportunity to spend some quality levelling time on Mettle, my youngest hunter. She doesn't have a huge pet theme or focus, and consequently has a small handful of much-loved pets - Perrin, the white Tallstrider; Claw, the brown striped sabrecat; Howle, the black wolf; and Zodiac, the red windserpent. Her stables also hold Intuos (Rak'shiri) and Halios (Old Cliff Jumper), who were dedicated re-tames. So by no means have I really been pushing the pet aspect of Mettle, who has so far just been a fun/relaxing play time character.
Anyhow, earlier today I was reading one of the Pet Challenges, and someone had tamed Pogeyan. It reminded me how striking said kitty was, and that - although he had never suited my other hunters - he may well fit Mettle. So I wandered on down and after perhaps an hour or less of messing around on the WoW Model Viewer, I log back in to see a giant fire spirit pacing around beside me. Fiero has been a fantastic hit, as his shine seems to give him the extra edge that normal cats lack beside Worgen (in my eyes).

I did a bit of dungeon grinding and finally hit level 69, respecced BM, and set off to tame the Kurken, another beast that I liked but "never suited" my other hunters. Easy tame, of course. After this, I thought, as long as I was on the right continent I might as well head down and grab a Devilsaur. Let me tell you, this was an adventure in itself - they may not be rarespawn, but it was several hours and many TV breaks later, and I was literally just about to give up, when who did I stumble upon but a handsome and ferocious black Devilsaur who now answers to the name Relic.

On my way over, I decide to take a squizz and see if the rare worm, Grubthor, was chilling in Silithus. He was. Topaz was welcomed to the steadily increasing crew, though he might end up morphing into Obsidium or Onyx when he hits the icy Northrend snows. We'll see how he goes.

Finally, pretty exhausted, I hit one final random and ding to 70. Feeling sick and tired from a hardcore day of WoW, I decide to head up to Netherstorm to check for Nuramoc. Bit of an ongoing story here - I was beginning to wonder if he was a myth; I have been interested in him for years but despite various camping efforts, I had never seen him in the wild (or even as a pet). I check the patrol points, no luck, so land on one of the manaforges to log out on and go to bed... until, suddenly, guess who appears right in front of me?!? I almost died (literally, managed to pull half of Netherstorm) but did manage a successful tame - and not 30 seconds later, a random player showed up and congratulated me, and mentioned they wanted to kill him for the achievement. (In itself that's fine, haha, just... omg... luck. @.@)

To top it all off, a wonderful friend took Mettle through a bit of Kara to help me tame the two Kara-unique ghost hounds. I wasn't sure which I preferred at the time so I grabbed both. Thoughts? If I do end up keeping both, I think I'll name them Mary and Celeste - both in theme with their ghostly appearance, and those are also names I think Kara's occupants would have used

So yeah. I'm a bit shellshocked at the moment, after having a very dry few taming months, suddenly getting all of these in one day...
Oh, and as a side note, my main hunter finally got her Halls of Origination colour changing Beetle (named Kaleidoscope), again thanks to that same friend!
So yeah. Huge few days.
