Mmm...cellulose...
Seriously, though, I used to chew on wooden pencils as a kid and probably ingested a fair amount of wood there. Just goes right through.

Creepy, yes, but I already heard of the cellulose thing in yoghourts. That in the cheaper products the fruit pieces are not fruit, but some jelly-thingie made of cellulose with fruit flavour. *Shudders* makes me want to buy a farm and only eat what I can harvest.....

I heard most, if not all, of these already, but still. Blech. The "Free range chicken" one also has another loophole - some industries just keep their chickens in cages, but have a nice little door to the outside⦠it's just that the door is fenced off. But still! It's access to the outside world, sort of!

At least the wood pulp filler stuff doesn't trigger a horrible allergic reaction like soy filler does for me o.O

Haha, same here.
As for the original article, we had frozen pizza for dinner last night. All I could think of was how it was probably mostly wood pulp. No wonder those things taste like cardboard.:/
